Re: Which Spydie makes you happiest to use?

To be honest, I love using my plain edge endura4 in vg-10. The knife fits my hand so well and I find the blade shape to be really useful. I like how maintenance free vg-10 is, and it holds a very sharp edge well. Happiness in the form of a knife. :)

Re: Screwed up the tip on my Endura

Did the tip just snap off? or had the tip been rounded before from previous wear? Sorry about your knife buddy.

Re: Golden Spydies' countersunk/flush screws stripping.

Instead of using locktite for my screws I use Teflon tape to hold them in place. Seems to work well and is definitely less "permanent", the screws stay in place and can be taken out with less force than required for locktite. May help you out with screw problems in the future!

Re: Spyderco worker sprint run discussion (C01GGR)

I've been eyeing the worker for a while now, looks like a really quality knife. I think the green handles look really attractive on this knife. I just wish I could afford one; just a little bit out of my price range. Maybe when I graduate from nursing school next year, ill pick one up for myself ...

How do you guys like your edges?

How do you like your edge? Plain or serrated? Toothy or polished? Please feel free to describe how you finish your edges. I like to finish my edges on the sharpmaker with the the fine rods on a 30 degree setting and then stropped lightly on denim. I find this gives me a "refined" toothy edge that ...

Re: New endura4 with Rit dye!

Gotta take advantage of the frn handles and their ability to take dyes. Plus rit dye is like $3 and you dont need to take your knife apart to do it; so no worries about voiding the warranty
