I carry a Chinook II almost everyday and I really don't notice it, except for when I try to reach into my pocket. My hands are waaaay to big for almost any pocket in the first place, so having a big, thick folder in there makes it impossible. Oh well, it's a worthy compromise.

I'd have to say the Natcheese (SP?) pass, over the cascades. I belive it was the first pass over the cascades connecting eastern and western Washington. But I could be wrong. I do know that it is still a gravel road, and has tons of good off-roading on it's capilary trails.

I think liner-locks are garbage, honestly. I have seen them fail, and had one fail on me nearly severing my pinkie. I'll stick with the back lock, thank you. I also like the Axis-lock (My fave actually) Supposedly one of the strongest locks ever, and I have no reason to doubt that.

From what I can tell the pivot screws are in there. You'll have to buy the right sized punch and be willing to pound on them to get them out. you can take the screws out and the knife will hold togther like nothing is missing.

When ALL of your jeans have those scuff marks on the corner of the carry pocket from your Spydie.

Or, when you affectionatly refer to your knife as "My Spydie"

I'm not into CRK&T's knives. At all. The lock failed on an "M-16" And nearly sliced my pinkie off. That said, I had a friend a while back who carried a drop-point K.I.S.S. on her bra. She could whip that sucker out so fast that I almost couldn't belive it. She also tought me how to fli...

The typical ebay asking price is about $40-$50. But you go to the shopping mall and the mayjor knife retail shop there charges about ...
