Figure this obvious comparison will pop up here soon anyway so might as well start the talk/speculation/comparison now. And....go.

Re: Now's The Time: For A New Hawkbill II
I would love to see a revamp to the Harpy. I have always loved mine (have 2). I have always said I wish it had the handle length of the delica and I wish the handle material could be sexied up a bit. I know its a marine knife however I carry mine as a utility/SD whenever I don't carry a karambit. An...

Re: Spyderco Fever
going to combine 2 in one here. Caly 3 is a great edition at around this size. The zdp is discontinued but you can find it, the vg-10 is gone but you can still find it. The damascus is discontinued, you have to hunt for it but Im going to tell you don't because I want to find another one. Imagine a ...

Re: Best hard use spydie folder?
My first choice of what I have would have been the tuff but mine has lock failure and I am scared that if I send it in I won't get it back claiming they think its unsafe and just give me credit. i would rather just have it in the collection. That being said I guess my domino with xhp. I use the ****...

Re: Help!!!! Tuff lock failure
Hi Dean, Sorry for your frustration. It seems something has happened at the interface. Nothing you can do to fix it. Sorry but you'll need to send it in. Charlynn will take good care of you. sal Thank you Sal. I will send it in soon. Not really frustration. The tuff is just my baby. Got it about 2 ...

Re: Help!!!! Tuff lock failure
I'd also send it in. Is yours one of the early ones with the super stiff lockbar (You basically won't be able to disengage it without fairly decent calluses and it still hurts), or is yours one of the later ones with more normal lockbar strength? Early. It was stiff when I got it. Took a lot of ope...

Help!!!! Tuff lock failure
Any advice. My tuff has lock failure now. I use it regularly for wood working. Dropped it about 2 feet and it failed. Now I do a light spine wack and it is failing every time. Need some guidance other than just sending it in, which I will do if I have to. It is my favorite knife right now knocking e...

dream sprint?
What's your dream sprint run. Limited edition to make it special, different materials to make it special. I'm expecting to hear someone say something like a titanium and damascus para2, which now, while I'm saying it sounds pretty good actually. Mine personally would be something like a bolstered (p...

Re: Good News: Anti Knife Law ending?
This is a great thing however it comes down to interpretation. In the video they stated that a "gravity" knife is a foot long. Right now a dragonfly would be considered a gravity knife because you can grab the hole, jerk your arm and fling it open, let alone the fact that it locks. What th...

PhotoGrid_1433821802407-1.jpg Just want to know what spydie you have that as much as you want to use it you grab something else because it's just too nice. I know after the honeymoon I will use it but I just got my hands on a caly 3 damascus. I...just...dont...want...to...mess...it...up. Wanna hear...

Re: most underrated/overlooked spydies
Hey Dean, here's to you, a little mix of FRN, and also bolstered CF. Gotta appreciate it all! :) And all that great choil gripiness... those spines are really something to behold, or be held, haha. http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i468/bikesatori/Random/20150531_151348_zpsznmnzvqc.jpg Yeah, I ha...
