I 100% agree. I sold 2 Pmillies because of super high pocket carry. It has always been a big problem for me with Spyderco knives. And if you combine high carry with a stainless clip  Everyone and his brother can see your carrying a knife a mile away. Not at all good in the big city.

Please tell me your kidding and that the great Bowie knife is completely legal in Texas. Home of the Alamo for crying out loud! Where Jim Bowie died defending Texas with his "Bowie knife" !!! Of course here in SoCal any knife sharpened on top and bottom is not legal (but that shouldn't sur...

Spyderco is incredable. How many company's (let alone knife company's) founder's/CEO etc come online and ask their customers. "We are making a second run please pick 3 steels"...He says please for Gods sake!!! I'll tell ya what you will not be reading stuff like that on any other forum. Ha...

Spyderco's made in China? :( I've been a huge fan of Spyderco for a long time and it bum's me in the extreme to hear this, but I understand. For someone who raises the stars and strips everyday in front their home and the company they created, in the USA, from the ground up... it had to be tough dec...

"We hi-jacked the "Spyderco vs. Benchmade" thread because it's been done too much and we have turned it into a Peanut Butter and "whatever" sandwich thread pretty much."

I see. Thanks for clearing that up. :o

I love my Scorpius. I've had it about 2 years. EDC'd it for awhile, but that para millie type, huge, shiny in your face, out of pocket profile (hey everyone I'm carrying a knife in my pocket!!!) just killed me. I Deacon'd it (remove clip carry in back right pocket) and rotate it with my 2 Stretch's....

Yea I've heard really good things about that DMT XX coarse stone. Cuts fast and does not wear, or at least the diamonds don't rip out with hard pressure. I've had pretty good results thinning down my VG10 and S30V Spydies with a $20.00 8"x2" med India stone. (for thick fixed blades I use a...

After getting a couple Barkie's and loving that full convex grind. I put a convex grind on my Delica, Millie and one of my Stretch's All turned out very well and strop up to an incredibly sharp edge. Its hard to tell if their sharper than a Spydie finished up on the ultra fine sharpmaker stones :con...

Its always a bit of a shock to see that disco'd list. For Spydie Fans its like reading the opituarie section of the newspaper and seeing some of your friends in there.
