Re: Knife Review: The Spyderco Schempp Bowie (3.7" blade – CPM S30V)

OUTSTANDING review...one of the BEST I've ever read here on the boards-- and I've read a couple ;) Only thing keeping it from BEING THE BEST EVER...wish you'd picked his brain as to the following question: "What's behind the choice of CF as a handle material on your Bowie?" :) that is sor...

Re: Knife Review: The Spyderco Tatanka folder (5" blade – VG-10)

... Personally, I'm much more interested in how it functions in protracted, heavy (for a folder) use. I'd also like to know how it carries in actual use. ... I'm hoping your part 2 will cover the knife in varied use, to the high standard of part 1. Knife reviews are a relatively recent addition to ...

Re: Knife Review: The Spyderco Tatanka folder (5" blade – VG-10)

I'm a little concerned, can that extra cam pinch your hand when opening/closing the blade? Having handled this knife A LOT and opened and closed it A LOT, that is not something I have come across, nor had I got any hint it might happen in all the time I've been using it. I suppose there is a tiny c...

BB Code for tables

Dear Tech support. When posting on Spyderco Forums, the BB code used seems different to most other forums. I was able to find alternatives to most code I use, but could not find one for tables, only lists. Can you either activate this BB code (see below) or let me know an alternative? Thanks Review ...

OK, had a bit of time, so fixed most of the formatting issues, but couldn't fix the table at the end. Review now posted here:

Re: PITS review

Oh, one other question, is 'Bladeforums' a bad word here? (the review is posted there as well as CPF which is why I'm asking) being new to Spyderco Forums I'm not sure of the etiquette relating to mentioning other forums or particularly specific ones.

Re: PITS review

As I don't maintain a website currently or use a blog (as I try to direct all traffic to forums not away from them), HTML is not an option. Formatting is important to me, as is the construction of tables and of course image links, so going plain text isn't of interest. I don't want to make a sows ea...

Re: PITS review

I will have to resort to simply posting a link of the review, as Sal has done in this thread. I hope if you do any future reviews of Spyderco products that you will post them here first :) Unfortunately unless the BB code format changes here, that won't happen. I always thought BB code was BB code,...

Re: PITS review

Another quick note. BB code works differently here than on all other forums I post on, for example, I use: [CENTER] [table][tr][th] etc None of which work here. There are alternatives on this forum, but it means a lot of work reformatting my master BB-Code review document and I don't have the time. ...

Re: PITS review

Hello all, and thanks for the positive feedback.

I considered posting it here, but having linked to Spyderco's Facebook and twitter accounts and sent the link to Joyce, I thought it would lead people to it.

Shall I post it on this forum as well, or just leave this link?

An official Spyde-hole filler when OHO not allowed?

Based on reading a lot of comments where various countries have issues with One Handed Opening, A thought struck me. Would it be possible for Spyderco to make an official Spyde-hole filler to convert any Spyderco into a two handed opening knife? For specific versions like the DKPK, the hole was made...

Re: GITD Manix 2 XL

This is one knife I'm really excited about (although I could say that about a lot of knives) and can't wait to get hold of! As an EDCF member who has missed out on lots of the forum knives, now I have a chance (unless the customs agents decide to keep it for themselves).
