Waited Over 2 Years for My Online Spyderco Knife Order

I ordered a Spyderco Lil Native from Dvor over 2 years ago. At first it just never shipped, and I was not charged for it so I just kind of wrote it off and forgot about it. About a month ago, Dvor contacts me to see if i still wanted it at the original offered price. $115 for a black Lil Native comp...

Re: Still the best pocket knife Spyderco ever made

I have the same knife and it is a really nice do-it-all EDC knife with a decent steel.

Odd Places You Have Found your Lost Knife

I could not find my UK Pen Knife. It's blue with CPM-S110V steel, so not something I want to have to replace. We found it in the upright HE washing machine. It was inside the gasket around the front door out of sight. Not sure how long it was there. Good thing the blade is a stainless steel.

Just about never. ;)

If there’s stuff in the pivot that needs to be cleaned out, I’ll clean it but otherwise I feel no need to take it apart.
Same.

Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition

As has already been said; it's very busy. Exactly the first impression I got. For an avid collector, I think it's still a buy. I would not however carry this knife; to me it's strictly a collector piece.

The Lil Native is already the perfect pocket knife for me! :D

I'll definitely be trying out one of the slipit models as well though.
Yep - I ordered one from DVOR (all black compression lock) that won't be shipping until next month.

GO BUCS!

Black Pacific Salt 2 - Is that a Black Polymer or a DLC Lockback?

Just got a black Pacific Salt 2 C91SBK; serrated edge and is perfect for yard work. Mine is a satin finish but came with a black lockback; is it polymer or black DCL? I can't really tell.

Either way I am very happy with the knife.

Just curious more than anything.

I Like My HAP40 Delica - Seems to take a beating

It's one thing to read the specs on the steel, but it's another when you use it. I was using my HAP40 Delica to cut fasteners for vinyl siding that was badly faded (lots of them). I also had to cut some of the new fasteners short so they would fit in the masonry. It still has a pretty good edge. Tha...

Re: Ideal Spyderco Knives For Lawn, Garden & Landscaping Jobs?

A Salt model might be good - but - I don't find landscaping as corrosive as marine use. I think the Salt is for the fishing tackle.

I fought the serrated edge thing for years, just didn't want to fool with sharpening one, I was just flat out wrong, should have bought this knife years ago!

Spyderco Knives You Want to See Back in Regular Production

PITS, Caly, Domino, and Dice. Some great designs that I wish could have stayed. I have my PITS in my pocket now. I'm not a knife market subject matter expert; just know what I like.

Re: Ideal Spyderco Knives For Lawn, Garden & Landscaping Jobs?

I just grab either a Native LW, Delica or an Endura. This is one instance where I wish I has a SE knife, I don't. I guess a Native LW SE would be perfect.

I am more interested which of the two models are easiest to operate (and hot spots). Both types of locks are strong enough for my needs.
