A maker should take pride in excellent fit and finish, even and especially a production knife maker. That said Sal I think you do a very good job. My favorite knife Spyderco makes is the Dodo, imho fit an finish is great in that knife, and while we are on the topic my Micarta Caly jr is the best I h...

Most modern stainless steels properly heat treated should hold an edge pretty well, some are better than others. I like S30V alot, Spyderco uses a company that does an excellent heat treat, or does it themselves (don't know which, but something tells me they have someone else do it). I would much ra...

I've carried and used knives since I was a kid. Used slip joints for most of my life. About three years ago I deceided to give this modern knife thing a try, I wanted a knife that was safe and tough to do the job. So I looked to the original, Spyderco, and with the help of people on this forum and a...

Hey Sal, you make high quality ergonomic knives I use everyday, I trust your products with my safety. You use the best steel and I wouldn't edc another production knife but yours. My Dodos have a interesting and unusual look to them. You are an inovator, Spyderco leads, it doesn't follow. Keep up th...
