I gotta agree on this. Not only is the big Persian an exquisite knife, it beautifully expresses Spyderco's willingness to create/co-create knives that are way outside the box.

Hi Jot, Your original Spyderco Khalsa was my very first Spyderco. The design intrigued me and led me to see that Spyderco is open to a profound variation in knife design. I've enjoyed meeting you at the Guild show on a couple of occasions. Good to see that your worthy design is being made available ...

Thanks for the thread, Water Bug.

I remember the Normandy D-Day every year. My dad was wounded while fighting in the hedge row country of Normandy. It was tough going.

God bless our nation.

I served on the Kitty Hawk, also retired. It gets me that all these great ships are being retired. And we are down to 10 active carriers?!

Thanks for the post.

I am intrigued by the possiblity of the Sifu and would be even more intrigued by a Carnivore. The Carnivore is the one knife that stands out for its ergonomic "feel" in the hand.

The compression lock is one of my two favorites, and it is the lock in which I have the most confidence. It is an elegant, outside the box design. When I got my ATR, a knife-maker friend looked at it, shook his head admiringly, and acknowledged he wished he had thought of it. I have no trouble opera...

This is really unfortunate. I EDC a Curvey I've had for years. It's a great little knife, unique and custom to my fingers. But it sounds as though current business practices are "customer hostile."
