Re: How about a PM60 Mule?
I was kinda bummed rext15 was chosen over rex66 bcuz the bump in cobalt I thought could bring something unique to the table. The chemistry even to the untrained eye appears a little off balance in pm60 to me. So I'd most likely pass on this one if it ever gets made. I believe one of the main reason...

Re: Your favorite exclusives
GPK stormtrooper combo with rex45 is hard to beat for me. Maybe because of nostalgia for all the Star wars movies. And rex45 is just a bonus.

Re: How about a PM60 Mule?
Apologies if I'm not the first to suggest it, but I recently came across a Kunwu folder with PM60 blade steel. According to my handy Knife Steel Composition phone app, PM60 is an "extremely high alloy, high speed tool steel. Capable of very high red hot hardness, up to 68-70 HRC. Highly wear r...

Re: MT40P – HIC Mule Team Dropping Soon!
Mine just turned up. Right out of the box it slices receipts with ease and shaving forearm hairs. The type of shave that a not very sharp blade does if that makes sense. We'll see how it goes, but I'm planning to use it mainly in the kitchen and light tasks that don't put too much stress on the blad...

Re: MT40P – HIC Mule Team Dropping Soon!
Just a handful left. Looks like they'll be all gone in a few minutes... All sold in about 4.5 hours. All is a number less than 2000 after QC fallout. Good to see they pumped around 2000 for this mule and everyone got a chance to get one. In all honesty at 150$ a piece and they sold out for 4.5 hour...

Re: Elastic Ceramic. Wow!
Maybe a silly question, but will the black color go throughout the blade or is just the outer part that is black? If grinding on the spine while fitting handles changes the color it might look odd... As far as I understood, it's a injection molding process therefore color should be solid throughout...

Re: New Person Introduction and Question
Introducing myself, Janice from the UK. My husband passed away three years ago. He loved collecting his knives, they were his treasure and he spend many hours / days / weeks lol admiring them. I have finally worked up the courage to sell his collections. Can I sell on the Spyderco Forum? If not wou...

Managed to snag 2 of them. Took about half an hour. No hickups just slow loading times. That's all. Only 82 left at this moment.

Alarm set. It's a difficult moment because I'm already three knives in for January but I'll try to push myself for this one. Good luck everyone.

Re: Sage 5 in REX 121 + burnt orange
Waiting to see if a REX 121 MULE is in the upcoming reveal, or this might make its way into my purchase list. I'm also curious if this is a Sprint Run, or a standard offering. Nice to see SPY27 making its way into Taichung, as well! I'll never understand how new steels are introduced in folders BEF...

Re: New Tenacious Frame Lock in D2?
I'm glad to see Spyderco developing the more budget lines. Ever since they brought s35vn in the ambitious/tenacious/resilience it was clear they have a plan to develop the budget line. Last year we had M4 tenacious and I believe we'll get to see M4 spreading to the entire line (I hope so. Resilience...

Re: 2024 Product Guide - Now Live!
We'll just have to be more selective with our purchases. November 2022 I got the Kapara for 179.95£. Now it is listed 284.95£. That's more than 50% up.

Re: 2024 Product Guide - Now Live!
I believe it's too soon. That's 94.50$ MSRP, ideally about 72$ street price. Somehow I don't believe we'll get M398 below 100$ street price.

Sheepsfoot UKPK with damacore blade and carbon fibre handle. With that blade shape and length and being a slipjoint makes it legal to carry almost everywhere.

Re: Blue Nishijin Stretch2 XL Damascus
Hey Vanka, Nice score and nice pics. Hope you enjoy them. Hi Hopsbreath, Thanx for the pic and comments. Sorry about the edge. Glad you got it sorted. It's a beauty for sure and there will not likely be any more made as that was the last of the custom carbon. My wife, Gail, uses it as her EDC. sal ...
