Starting to worry?

I'm new to forum and Spydercos. Could not find a PM2 plain blade with black handle in stock at any of places I tried, so went to Ebay. Found seller with over 1,000 good deals done. Asked in PM if authorized dealer and genuine, was told it was. Haven't received it yet (due Monday) but after reading t...

Lucky with the mail today!

My wife brought the mail in today which included an Amazon order of my new Cara Cara2 for $20 and a BUDK catalog with a $15 dollar folder on the cover. My wife now knows the price of knives. I'm glad my new Para2 didn't arrive today!!!

Re: New Black Southard

Almost sorry I opened your post, didn't know what a Southard is. Had to look it up and I'm impressed. I'm going to look seriously at one. Good luck, enjoy it.

Torx T-4 screws on Spydercos?

I just got a new set of Wihi miniature Torx driver bits with handle from Amazon. Made in Germany, looks to be real quality for $19.50, sizes T-5 and up. I had looked at set in Lowe's with a fancier driver handle and it did include T-4 for $7.00. The German made bits seem to be finished much better t...

New to forum, coming from Spyderco side

I started with a Spyderco Persistance and found this forum (spider side) So impressed with my Persistance that I wanted more! Came to understand that I have "value folder" and there are a lot of Spydercos I would love to have but just can't afford to collect and play with those. Someone su...

Re: Have Persistance value folder looking to step up?

Lots of great advice, you guys have really got me thinking realistically. I think I'm going to hold off on a more expensive Spyderco at this time. I'm going to go with two or three different Byrd knives to try to really see what feels best in length, blade styles and locks. Of course the next time I...

Re: Have Persistance value folder looking to step up?

Native 5 looks interesting. Will I see/feel difference from my Persistance? Native 5 vs. Para2?

Have Persistance value folder looking to step up?

I've had my Persistance for a few weeks now and think it's the best knife I've ever owned, small enough for EDC, large enough blade to be usable and now getting the hang of opening it. But after starting to read on the forum I realize that Spyderco make better? Knives and think I would like to step ...

Re: Favorite EDC

I understand now my problem is with my surgically repaired right thumb that stop my Spyderco Persistance from working for me. I love the knife size both handle and blade size are perfect! How does this compare to Spyderco Domino. (Once I got over the sticker shock) The Persistace would be perfect if...

Re: Favorite EDC

I think your right! About five years ago I had trouble moving parts of my right hand and they did surgery and took tendon material from my forearm to rebuild my thumb. I hadn't thought about it and don't remember what the procedure was called but the did put me to sleep to do it? The Spyderco works ...

Re: Favorite EDC

I'm still have trouble opening my Persistance with one hand despite my persistence in practicing! It just seems to be too big sideways for my thumb to swing it all the way out, maybe it's my old hand? I'm thinking of ordering a Delica 4 in British racing green thinking it might work better for me?

Re: Favorite EDC

I'm new to forum and new to collecting, just starting. My EDC is Spyderco Persistane. It's a great knife and has made me a Spyderco fan. The only thing is it seems a little too wide when closed. Opening with my thumb seems too long of reach, I have to shift it in my hand? I think I may order a Delic...
