Re: The new Baker Forge Stainless Damascus sure would look nice on some Spydercos!
Interesting but if I read this correctly this is a comparison of two totally different manufacturing methods not just for the steels but also the Damascus patterns.

Some really cool knives in there which I would normally be tempted to buy, but given the pricing they will be a hard pass in these times.

Awesome knife, but absolutely a no go to import.
Still waiting on the standard production slipjoint.... Might be easier to buy an original custom though... Anybody know if Alistair still makes those?

Re: Lion Steel Spydercos ?
Quality is good, potentially very good.
Never bought a spyderco lionsteel because all the normal lionsteel were notoriously thick behind the edge (something resharpening can't fix) and their preference to use 4mm blade stock even in blades with little blade height.
This combination makes for rather ...

Re: Crazy good deals - Europe edition
While I agree about the sentiment of best deals, my original intent for posting was that European releases often get overlooked.
Plus at the time of writing they actually were the best deal in Europe as in the only one.

Re: C-159 Air Campaign: Sprint or Bust!
Didn't read the whole thread, but any air sprint would get my vote. Personally I would prefer something with s90v steel, which has become a favourite of mine recently.

Also bummed that I sold mine...
Now there aren't any good deals to be found anymore in Europe.
Also giving up hope for the smaller or the slipit version.

Re: Reveal 17 - LIVE!
I wanna know how people feel about the number of lionstreel designs being spyderized ? I really don't adhere to it, I know that one is not supposed to buy the whole Spyderco line-up, but I'm still having trouble reconciliating lionsteel's production and Spyderco's style of knifemaking. In my eyes ...

Re: Reveal 17 - LIVE!
Having handled a lionsteel skinny I can safely say that the blade thickness on the slym is a deal-breaker.
Other than that some nice offerings... I'll be curious as the the prices and availability here in Europe.

Re: Liking the Roadie XL
Mine just arrived, a Christmas present from myself for myself (we celebrate on the 24th). Really like it. Of course I would have preferred a thinner blade stock but it is great.
Front and back are screws, is the middle fixture pinned?
