Re: Caribbean: Hottest Spyderco Available!
Agree, love many things about this knife, the steel, action, fit in hand but I have a couple of beefs. I carry it everyday and work on a boat, often reaching for it in the dark or in awkward spaces, I can’t look down for it and a couple of times the weak detent has left the tip exposed and it’s cut ...

Re: New Rod Grits?
Thanks for answering, appreciate it.
Have recently added the diamond rods and have been happy with their ability to repair a chip or put that extra zing into a blade.

Re: New Rod Grits?
Sort of on the topic, I've been curious to know what grit (or appropriate measure) each of the Sharpmaker rods are? Diamond, Medium, Fine and Ultra-Fine. Could someone enlighten me? Thanks.
I'd like to get an idea of where they fit in between the courser bench stones and polishing compounds.

Re: Hap-40 performance thread
Great read, thanks Surfingringo, inspired me to give my month-old Endura it's first going over with a Sharpmaker. It has been the sharpest out-of-the-box knife for me in three years of buying knives and I've been using it mainly for food prep (fruits, veg, meat, fish), apart from some paper, cardboa...

Re: HAP40 Delica and Endura
What do you do when you've pre-ordered at a fav. vendor (KW) and the knife comes into stock at several other vendors?

Re: Atlantic Salt for boaters
Can I put this here? Had this one for four years or so and was my on-water carry until a Black/Black PE Pac Salt replaced it in my pocket (more versatile). Now it goes in the seabag to tackle larger diameter lines and going over the side (clear prop ect). http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/b495/Bel...

Re: Pacific Salt praise
Thanks putting up the detailed review, I'm really liking the knife after a couple of months use. I now keep my SE Atlantic Salt in my bag for big rope work and pocket this black on black PE for. http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/b495/BelasariusJnr/5C5FAE4F-59B9-4E93-9307-069FC9B450B2_zpssmdmh1ts.j...

Re: Sell me on the Endura 4?
I've had this for a month or so and carried it for work most days - like it alot (ergos, thickish blade). I've had a SE Atlantic Salt for a couple of years but it is too vicious for general use, the PE on this Pac Salt is way more versite. Will be looking at more Enduras. http://i1288.photobucket.co...

Help me tell the difference btw Fine and Ultra-Fine rods
Dear all, could someone help me identify which are the Fine rods and which are the Ultra-Fine rods for my Sharpmaker? The dishwasher has cleaned off the red marker on the Ultra-Fine rods and to my weak eyes they look identical to the Fine rods.
