Re: Firefly discussion

Yep, same! The firefly is definitely one I've been waiting for! Obviously not the only one though, and seeing how long this thread has been around, Id say I'm even late to that party! :p

Re: Predicting the 2016 discontinued list...

Id like to hope the roadie is here to stay, at least for a few more years, still need to get one for myself haha! Also, could've sworn I saw talk about a larger model Roadie somewhere, but don't hold me to that. As for discontinued models, I could see the Khalsa being one to go. Not saying this is w...

Re: the squarehead

Looks great, I love the way the large spyder logo looks on there! As for the hole/loop, I would also suggest a small grommet. They seem to work well with leather, and would definitely be strong enough to hold a split ring. Heres an example of how I used a grommet with a leather lanyard. http://i59.t...

Re: Question about Southard authenticity

Well then, I stand corrected. That's VERY good to know!
Also, thanks for the heads up, I had always assumed to trust Amazon with Spyderco products. I'll certainly keep that in mind for future purchases.

Re: Question about Southard authenticity

This can't be guaranteed, but its safe to say, if your getting the fulfillment through Amazon, chances are you're getting a genuine product. It's when you start buying from individual resellers where things start to get sketchy.
As previously mentioned, pictures are key to determining authenticity.

Re: Top three keychain knives

Personally, my most carried keychain knife is the Plain edge ladybug hawkbill! So that easily gets my number one spot. Next for me would definitely be the Dogtag. For it's wow factor when people see it, just as much as its tiny s30v blade! And I don't own one, but I can't help but think the "bu...

Re: Completed my ladybug collection

Pulled my Ladies out for a pic while we wait for Pat to sleep off his tuna-fishing coma ;). I'm missing a few of the variants for sure. There were 2 orange VG-10 ones up recently on eBay and I was outbid on both :(. http://i780.photobucket.com/albums/yy85/dnairradiator/557CD180-818F-44A4-BC2C-586F2...

Now that you mention it, I could definitely see the roadie with a nice bolster and some jigged bone scales!

Copper bolsters would be glorious! :D

I've really grown to love the ladybug, and pretty much for the same reason as you, because I always have one with me. I've seen those little keychain sheaths before too, might have to give one a try.

Re: What Spyderco design is Sal Glesser most proud of?

Yeah I knew I had heard it was one of the those two somewhere! I just went through the "tour" videos I mentioned and didn't hear anything of it, so I must have heard it somewhere else.
