Re: Favorite small Spyderco
For me, its a toss up between the bradley air and the leafstorm. Bradley air for "pocketed" carry and the leafstorm for clipped carry.

Re: Don't underestimate the importance of keeping your knife oiled.
This is a very good point for a number of reasons. In addition to what you mentioned regarding the lock mechanism actuation, the non stainless blades like CPM-M4 and CPM-3V need a coating of oil on them at all times. They will rust very quickly if you do not keep a close eye on them. What I do is ke...

Re: Want an new EDC. Criteria: Sub 3’’, Cutting capacity, ergonomics, clip, weight.
Bradley Air all the way dude. I carry regular size EDC's when I'm outside the office but when it comes time to carrying a light, small, non-threatening office EDC, the air is pretty hard to beat. I sharpened mine on my wicked edge setup and it is a crazy sharp letter opener. I have since added a Squ...

Re: Domino Love?
I would definitely have to agree with you. I have the smurf blue 204p domino and it steadily stays in my edc rotation. Its my favorite knife to play with when I'm sitting in traffic - it is so smooth and fast! I too have passed on the two other domino offerings with cts-xhp just because I'm not supe...

Re: Techno Pivot
All knives have a break in period but if it has not loosened up after a few days I would send it back to where you ordered it from. I had one techno with perfect blade centering and a smooth pivot and another one with a blade that was slightly off with a stiff pivot. Then again I'm totally OCD about...

Re: Best Plain Edged Spyders?
I think if you are looking for an EDC blade then you can't beat the lw Manix in s110v. In terms of price vs. performance it ticks all the boxes. I would have to agree. It has all your typical utilitarian spyderco traits, a solid locking mechanism, and supersteel for right around $100. Never thought...

Re: Fairly comprehensive list of Spyderos in movies, tv shows, etc
Very interesting. Looks like the Police SS is the go to for most of them. I've personally never been a fan of that model, but I can see how it assumes the role of a tactical knife that most people can identify.

^ That pair looks like it could get most anything done. Very nice selection, clevelanddean! Love a nice slicer + a SE hawkbill. Here's a couple more couples from me: http://i1095.photobucket.com/albums/i468/bikesatori/Random/2015-04-27%2018.14.51_zpsjwjft2xz.jpg Which model is this tanto blade next...

Re: Murdered out SE Pac Salt
Here's mine. Great knife for those dirty jobs when I don't want to whip out one of my safe queens haha. I carry this one when I ride my mountain bike (just hose the mud off afterwards) and also when tree climbing (hence the neon green lanyard).

Re: most underrated/overlooked spydies
The Gayle Bradley Air. As I mentioned in another post in the forum, this is the knife that allowed me to always have a spyderco with me. When I don't want to be seen with a clipped knife, I carry this subtle blade. It does everything all my other spyderco's can do but in a small yet still functional...

Re: When to go clipless
I have been accustomed to carrying all my spyderco's clipped, but as soon as I got the Gayle Bradley Air, I simply started carrying that knife all of the times I do not want to be seen with a knife clipped to my pants. Thus, I never have to go without a spyderco. In a pair of dress slacks, the Air s...

A Tale of Two Spidies (PM2 and YO2)
Here are some pics of my recently acquired Paramilitary 2 and Yojimbo 2 as well as a story that goes along with them. First off I'm not new to knives or Spyderco's in general but I have never really had a collection, just EDC's that I depended on. In 2008 I bought my first Spyderco, a DLC coated Mil...

Re: Show off your latest purchase
Just picked these two up, first I got the paramilitary 2 and was so impressed with how nice the compression lock was I decided to splurge and get my first sprint run so I got the Yojimbo 2 a few weeks later.
