For all you metal fans the new one from Scar Symmetry called The Singularity (Phase I - Neohumanity) is absolutely phenomenal! It's the first in a trilogy of albums and it's all about man creating artificial intelligence and how technology is taking over. It's actually based off of real research, st...

Tis better to give...
So about mid September my brother-in-law's heart gave out on him. He was without oxygen for about 16 mins. It was pretty bad and for a little bit it was minute by minute to see if he would make it. Well he recently got out of the hospital and was over today to take the kids trick or treating. He's b...

I just stumbled across the spyderwrench last night and thought it funny you posted this. I would love to get my hands on one. It's a shame they're no longer made. They look awesome!

Asking "which Spyderco is best?" would be equivalent to trying to demystify existence or figuring out the duality of man. It will blow your mind.

Re: Something interesting happened today.
Of all my Spydies (and I have many) the Sage 3 is the smoothest opening of them all. I don't see how it could possibly be smoother than a Manix*. Every Manix* I've had has been like pushing an ice cube on wet ice. I don't have a manix but if it's smoother than a sage that would be ridiculously smoo...

Re: Something interesting happened today.
I really need to try a Sage as well as a Chaparral.... Yes, yes you do. I haven't met the Chaparral yet but have heard great things. The sage fits my hand perfectly so I'm not sure if I'd want to go any smaller. The Chaparral seems like a smaller sage and if it's anything like the sage then it's a ...

Re: My Thoughts on 1 Year With Spyderco...
I took to Spyderco right off the bat. Unlike some who found them to be an "acquired taste" I found their designs intriguing and couldn't (and still can't) stop looking at them. Then I held them... Full blown addiction ensued. I want to try every model, own every steel, find all the colors ...

Re: Something interesting happened today.
The sage line really seems to be just outstanding. I had a sage one also and it was just as smooth. The guys at work really like my blue 3 and get a kick out of it when I refer to it as "papa smurf". They are not allowed to borrow it unless they refer to it by name haha

Something interesting happened today.
So I have lately been in love with my Native 5 (and for good reason) when I decided to finally try my Sage 3 today. Good golly what a difference! I mean how can a knife feel so perfect? Why did I wait so long? Does anyone else feel this way? This knife feels perfect. The action is so smooth and the ...
