Re: Completely Forgotten Spyderco Models: Your Favorites?
I haven’t listened/ read back to all of the replies yet, but I have a few which might not have been listed, but to me they are as obscure as it gets. 1. C05 Standard/ Economy - actually, both are really nice lock backs, especially with the grippy G-10 version in ATS-55. Very similar to a Delica in s...

Re: Ranking Sprint Runs? Recent & Past models?
My favorite Sprints are mostly older ones: (In no particular order) 1. ZDP laminate Burgundy Jess Horn and Calypso Jr. runs. They were/are just so superb, and they should still be in production. 2. C67 "R" Reissues with solid blades but skeletonized handles. Oh so rare, and I have both PE ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
C05GS Standard in ATS-55 is riding pocket duty today. It's a tough little guy with great ergos that needs to be taken out for a day or two. I love the feel of the G-10 from this era of knives, there's just such grip.

Oddly enough, mine did the exact same thing where the belt loop stitching let go. I called Spyderco yesterday about this, and will be sending it in for warranty repair/ replacement.

Re: Need help: Remedying gritty action on stainless steel Endura (no disassembly, no screws at all!)
Definitely a small ultrasonic cleaner for home isn’t expensive, though an endura might be a tight fit, closed. I can also suggest a steam cleaner to blast steam in the pivot and heat up/ break up / blast away the crud you have going on in there. Both a small steam cleaner and an ultrasonic cleaner a...

Re: Mule team - preorder
As the man who lost the MT01 and also lost out on the latest Mule, I can say a few things about how things went, and where I’m at. Was I frustrated with the website mishaps and errors while trying ( as a blind man) to get an order in on the site, which is so NOT friendly to navigate? Yes, sure. Do I...

Re: Spyderco's ATS-34 Era: Considered Premium At That Time
Hear hear on the in-house designs, JD. Among my favorites are the Dodo and Scorpius, as well as all of the Temp knives, fixed or folding. Plus, I still feel that ATS-34 is a great steel, maybe cause I'm stuck in the past somewhat... But, it still performs well and maintains a fine edge in my "p...

Re: What's your favorite model to OPEN?
The "SNAK!" lock up of my first generation C101 80mm Manix is ridiculous. Not discrete at all. It's obnoxious- I love it. The back lock leaves no room for error in lock engagement. It's probably the beefiest model I have, as it's gotten come custom Green G10 laid on top of the factory G10,...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
For me, today is the same as the last three weeks- Lil' Temp 3. It just feels right in so many ways, just like the original Lil' Temp 2 Rhino does- solid, grippy, and built like a tank, yet slices easily for such a thick blade stock. Also, the ergonomics are amazing! I love it, and I am still hopefu...

I’m in for 1, I need it to replace the broken MT01 so I can finally use one in the kitchen.
