I think it'll be approx $75 for the aluminum handled Skeletool & approx $90 for the carbon fiber version...for once, my preferred version is cheaper :D

I can live with FRN and steel liners, so the Native might just do the trick. The Native's blade length is exactly what I'm after. Ya mean Endura 4, right? ;) I hear you about the Native though - half inch more blade, preferrably flat ground, slightly stronger tip, & it'd be my perfect EDC - the...

I like the lightweight, back to the basics approach of the Skeletool. If I want something more intricate, I'll bring out my Snap On tool roll.
The only thing I don't like is it seems to use proprietary bits.
I'll likely still get one though, in aluminum handle.

That new Leatherman Skelatool looks real nice, back to basics & lightweight to boot; I prefer the aluminum handle as opposed to the CF handled version though.

Dang...I usually only own one folder that I use the bejeesus out of until it's time for a new one. I carry a backup folder for a few days until the replacement EDC arrives. I tried my hand at collecting a couple years back & just sold all my safe queens last week - I didn't particularly need the...

Wow, that's a truly fantastic review. I am a Spyderco fan, but I find myself leaning towards the SnG for an EDC (I'm actually considering the SnG tanto point as I use my EDC hard) simply because it seems to has a better blade to handle ratio than the Mini Manix (for my hand), and I'm not a fan of th...

I carry a Native S30V for urban EDC & the other half carries an FRN calypso Jr...both excellent units, cant't go wrong with either if they feel right in your hand.

Customer service

Recieved excellent advice & outstanding service from Mike at Ext. 255 re. Calypso Jr. & Native clips. This customer service experience was exactly what I've heard to be normal for Spyderco - I am VERY impressed; sc_rebel pointed me to the right department for my needs. Mike, good talking to ...

Comes down to value for $$$, I guess, except for true enthusiasts; popular choices seem to be production Emersons or Spydercos.

No problem, pvr4;
As far as the sharpmaker is concerned, do you push the serrations onto the sharpmaker or the other way around?
Take a quick look at the image link below, it shows the Gatco Tri-Seps cross-section.
Regards.
