Both mine and my wife’s frn Chappie had thumb-destroying lock bars upon arrival.
With a good deal of use, they have broken in and are now pretty much perfect.
This knife punches so far above its weight class it’s almsost silly

Re: In search of a real kitchen folder
I totally forgot about the hundred pacer.
Im thinking that’s the ticket for a readily available Spyderco folder that would work well in the kitchen.
This stinking thread is about to make me drop some coin.

Re: In search of a real kitchen folder
I absolutely hear you man, i end up doing quite a bit of food prep at other peoples homes with my folder due to them not having a handpicked set of thin stock carbon steel japanese kitchen knives. The wife and i cook a lot and are particular about our knives. I tend to use my s110v Military since it...

man that is tempting, had i not just picked up a pair of CTS-204P millies which i am absolutely enamored with, id jump on that for sure.
as it stands I'm good until the CF/TI S90V KW drops.
still, has me thinking.

Re: KnifeWorks Exclusive Military - CTS-204P and dark green G10
Thanks for the great pics and detailed explanation of changes, Studey. Since I'm a lefty, both clips feel great in hand to me. (Other lefty advantages of the Millie include even easier middle finger flip due to large lock cutout, the blade safely faces the back edge of the pocket, and the large loc...

Re: OK, it's time to get serious
No matter how many "high end" Spydies I aquire, I seem to gravitate to the Delica and Stretch over and over again. Sometimes something is just right.
This is such an impressive thread and response. Totally validates my affinity for Spyderco. I'll buy a warnie Delica on day one.

Just pushing this one to the top as a compulsion due to my obsession with the Stretch.
Any information on an approximate possible release? I know probably not. Still. Just wanted to keep the thread relevant.

You're not gonna see a quantum difference...remember the liner lock on the GB1 & 2 was engineered with a certain amount of "inaccessibility" in mind to prevent accidental disengagement :)[/quote] I suspected as much, perchance to dream. Thanks for responding. Still not going to stop me...

Re: Bradley folder 2
I am particularly interested in the amount of exposed hole in the closed position as well as the accessibility of the liner lock in the open position. Is the liner lock mechanism easier to access and disengage as compared to the original? I am interested as a wrong handed individual that will have t...

Re: What do you think of the S110V PM2 color?
Love it, I've long been a fan of all things purple and this color is like a purple royal blue hybrid. Looks great in the sun, decent indoors but under natural lighting is where these scales really become something unique. The g10 seems more grippy also. Maybe it's just me. Overall very pleased. Than...

One of the Best knives of the year for me so far, and one I can actually get. One of my favorite models in one of my favorite steels in a color you don't see that often.
I'm chomping at the bit.

Great posts and review jackknifeh, I just dropped major coin on a Kuro-Uchi after reading this thread and doing lots of research. Luckily Carter is about 15-20 minutes away from me so I was able to check them out in person. Best kitchen knife I own by far. Just glides through food and makes prep wor...

Manix 2 xl is an amazing value for the package. I really would love to see it in more steels.
Cruwear Manix 2 xl to match the Manix 2 would be one of my dream knives.

Re: Brown G-10 Stretch "Test Model" observations
Just put in my order for one. The price is slightly more then I wanted to spend, but I wanted this knife since I first heard of it's upcoming release. The stretch, being my very first Spyderco way back when I was a babe in the woods, holds a very special sentimental status to me. Hopefully it will a...

Re: What is your little big knife preference?
Have to go with Taiwan because of the Techno. Can't think of a Spydie that is so big in so little a package. Agree 100%. Even though I edc a Military most days, I am completely blown away by the Techno and fall in love with it all over again each time it makes it's way back into my pocket. Also, as...
