If spyderco doesn't fix it, i do not think a little light sanding inside the pivot would hurt, as long as you don't go crazy with it.

I dont think you could do it dou to the fact that laminated steel is forge welded together and h1 is work hardrned.

You can use progressively incresing sand paper grits, to sand it out.

I would go with the manix due to the fact that you want strengh, the sand should not be a problem due to the open construction, and if it becomes an issue just rinse it out.

Like everyone else said, i would not worry about it, but i would recomend a real kitchen knife and not a folder anyways.

I definantly recomend the hungarian folder, it is one of my favorite knives. As far as the cf and damascus caly, in my opinion it is the best looking spydy ever made.

I am not really a fixed blade in the pocket kind of guy but, I edc a CRKT S.P.E.W. around the neck everyday.

Who else here is dissapointed that the jani-song is not available in the us? I am an avid flipper of the balisong, and i have been interested in the design for years. I understand the laws, but i would have expected them to make it in golden.
