Mine just showed up. Ordered a few so I could work on the scales and then give some as gifts. NICE! The shrinkage on each one is different. A couple had simple shrinkage cracks, one had a split from which part of the scale drifted up parallel to the tang, and one had scales that are pulling away fro...

The main disadvantage I see is with the current drop in MSRP for some H1 blades the warrior fetches 2.5 times the price of a Rock Salt...which is not me saying its not worth it (it's just out of my budget). The Rock Salt is a fantastic knife at the current price. The Warrior is ten cents more than ...

I've been thinking about the Spec-Ops Brand sheaths for some of my spydie fixed blades. Is the Warrior's sheath (which looks like the 'regular' Spec-OPS sheath) compatible with the Temp II? Wouter Looking at pictures of the production Spec-ops sheaths there seem to be some differences. -snap on kni...

It looks, in the picture, as though the pliers handle would interfere with operating the snap closure on the sheath. Is that the case? The pliers do restrict access to the snap somewhat, although there is a gap of 1/4" between the pliers handles and the Warrior guard. I suppose you could use s...

I would have to say the top 2009 Spydercos were:
1 - Warrior
2 - Gayle Bradley
3 - Manix 2
4 - Purple Forum Native

Also I just can't say enough about that Warrior sheath. That sheath really looks like a well made unit. I've wondered why Spyderco doesn't make their sheaths where you could store one of those Spyderco "Doublestuff" sharpening stones. That would be ideal for outdoor ventures. Great input....

JD, Maybe you and I look at things differently here in the Midwest, but I wonder if anyone else will see the versatility in this "one purpose" Warrior knife. Heck, I have found that even the often maligned Spydiehole on fixed blades comes in awfully handy for emergency fence wire twisting ...

Thanks for the pictures and review. Chopping through ice is a twice daily practice with livestock in the winter, especially if your stock tank heaters are not up to the job or if your stock is using a nearby creek. Finally, I decided to chop some ice for fun, because I was close to a small pond. The...

JD, Here is a picture of the Warrior with a Temperance II. The Temp II will look better when I rejuvenate the micarta. Used it to skin out an old cow and haven't oiled up the handle after scrubbing off the blood (It performed great as a skinner as long as I was careful with the point). Also a quick ...

Warrior

Just received my Spyderco Warrior. All I can say is WOW!!! This knife feels so right in the hand. The thick scales with palm swells, perfectly placed finger grooves, and ideal balance makes it just hug your hand in either grip position. Solid as a rock with the thick H-1 and substantial guard....

They were just put on the table and the picture taken. The ones on the left/right are the same variation but different knives. So in that pic above, we are not actually looking at 15 Li'l Temps, (including the ones on the bottom) but rather the ones on the left are the same knife as the ones on the ...

About the time they were discontinued a dealer or two were clearing them out for $79. Fantastic price for one of Spyderco's best.

Nice pic, westfork. I didn't know the blue G-10 forum knife was available in a choice of PE or SE. Does that mean there were 300 of each edge type or 150 plain and 150 serrated? I knew the answer to that at one time  I believe the final production figure contained both types. This include...
