Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
GB2 has become my favorite. I never thought anything could replace the PM2 but I was wrong.

Re: Micarta PM2 blade swap potentially?
I don't understand why you'd want to buy a knife with CruWear and downgrade the steel, but it looks great! Cruwear is garbage! Especially compared to 10V! Most overhyped steel I've come across these past few years. Are you being serious or joking? Do you honestly not like cruwear, and if so why?

Re: Manix 2 Rockscale Skinny scales
I prefer it to the stock shape. The stock shape does lock your hand into place better but it also doesn’t give you any options. The straight grip doesn’t force you into anything and it’s still plenty grippy and comfortable.

Manix 2 Rockscale Skinny scales
Just installed some Rockscale design skinny scales and they are great. Excellent feel, I like getting rid of the liners with all the excessive jimping. The only thing I dislike is that the lanyard tube isn't snug and it rattles a bit. Overall I'm happy with this version but I'm going to look into so...

Shaman replacement washers?
I recently picked up a used shaman but the previous owner lost a washer and replaced it with Teflon. I searched and found bronze washers labeled for pm2's and another source that labeled them delica washers. Anybody know if the pm2 and shaman use the same size washers, or what specific size I need f...

Re: Clean up Bradley blade?
I'm really happy with it. Got a good deal on it just because it was dull! I guess some people just aren't interested in sharpening?

Re: Clean up Bradley blade?
Thanks all, so it seems like the general opinion is leave it alone. Will the "shiny" areas eventually fade to non-shine?

Clean up Bradley blade?
I bought a bradley 2 used and have no idea what was done to "acid etch" the blade. I would like to clean it up if possible and wanted to know the best way to try? Related question, have any of you use cold blue on a carbon knife blade? If so, how did it turn out and holds up to use? 9EC4FA...

Re: BladeHQ Exclusive Smock - Natural G10 and M4 - TiCN blade
Question for Sal, or anybody who has an original smock to compare with. Did the design change in this with the 2nd detent? I found my spring and put it all back together but now I'm not sure if I somehow did it wrong? I had an original smock that I sold after I bought this one. With that one I could...

So a little embarrassed, I just put new scales on but managed to lose the spring for the 2nd detent. Any way to get a replacement?

Re: TiCN coating?
Good to know, thanks. I have an old Benchmade 745 that has a faded black coating, I don't know what it is but I love the look so it sounds like I'll be happy with this.

TiCN coating?
I managed to get the new m4 Smock today. I've never had a knife with the TiCN coating and I'm wondering what to expect? How does it hold up to other black blade coatings? I've only used a single other black blade spyderco, a cruwear para 3 and I don't know what that type of coating is or how it comp...

Para 3 lock stick fix?
I recently got a para 3 and while it's a great size it is a little rough to close. The lock sticks and if I adjust the pivot to eliminate playing doesn't fall shut. Thoughts? This is my first 3, never had this issue with any of my pm2's.

Re: What are your thoughts on Spyderco's Peel-ply Carbon Fiber?
If the smock is peel-ply I'm all for it! I love my smock and didn't think I would. I wasn't impressed by pictures but using it has made me a believer.

Re: Centering a Smock
Figured it out, not sure why but it was the micarta scales. Put the originals back on and it’s perfectly centered.
