If you want a real nano lubricant look into Archoil AR-4400 lp. It's an amazing knife lubricant and uses nano Tungsten Disulfide suspended in PAO synthetic oil. It's non toxic and all that as well.

I get some red spotting and streaks around the side where my thumb uses the hole. Probably caused by acids on my fingers.

I absolutely love it. It's wear resistance exceeds m4/HAP-40/REX-45 by a long ish shot. I've started to hone it soley with the fine stone want occaisonaly a strop with Flexcut Gold compound and haven't found it to go dull at all. I want a k2 as well. Only thing that stopped me was being a lefty.

I love this knife more day by day. My particular one seems to depress the lockbar a little deep out of the box, and the lockbar has a cosmetic quirk but it doesn't really matter yet. Totally considering another one or two when I can afford it.

Not generallyan issue if you're using a sharpening method that conservatively removes material and don't let it get dull.

Varies on how and what you're cutting.
