Why was it given the name "Lil Temp 3"? What ever happened to the 2?

Re: Para 3 vs Sage 5
The Sage 5 is what got me buying Spydercos again! I took about a year off from buying knives to save money for the firearms hobby. My Sage 5 was extremely stiff when I got it, but it's smoothed out a considerable amount. The centering is pretty far off, but that's my fault for adjusting the pivot. J...

Re: Sage 5 Action Stiffness
Thanks Sal! It's smoothed out a little bit even in the past day. It's still very stiff, but obviously it seems like it'll only get better as time goes on.
The detent on my knife isn't perfect, but it seems to be better than what others are describing.

Re: Tenacious rusting :(
My Tenacious was my first Spyderco, and the only time I ever found rust on it was when I got it in the mail! It was just three tiny specs. Never had a problem since, and none of my other 20+ knives have rusted

Sage 5 Action Stiffness
So I just got a Sage 5 about a week ago, I love it, but the action seems extremely tight. I've tried adjusting the pivot, but I haven't been happy with the results. If the blade swings freely the knife has a ton of play. In order to get rid of the play, the blade has to be very very tight. It's abou...

Re: My Ideal Knife
Yes, welcome! And nicely done! Correct me if I'm wrong, folks, but I don't think Spyderco makes anything outside of the classic Japanese lockbacks with a wave (Delica, Endura, Matriarch...and that's it?). It doesn't seem like they are really into it, and frankly neither am I, but again you have don...

Re: Spyderco Ouroboros
Hi Paul! I'm really looking forward to the release of the Ouroboros! I believe Eric said you were from Michigan? I'm from Michigan, so that adds another reason for me to pick one up. I really wanted to see more knives with a small-medium sized blade, compression lock, and the wire clip. The only neg...

Re: ATR is back!
The new ATR and the Sage 5 are must haves for me. There's a lot of knives I like, but for them to be "must haves" they have to be pretty special. I will be picking up both of them as soon as I can! I'm hoping that's pretty soon!

Re: Warranty denial?? Shocked!
The same thing happened with my Domino, so instead of sending it in a second time, I just bent the lock-bar over and fixed the problem myself. I actually just sent in my Para 2 which was very lightly used, but somehow developed up and down play. I'm really hoping I don't have problems again, and I h...

Awesome video. It really makes me appreciate my knives a lot more! I would love to pick up a Sage 3, but I really wish it was still sold in blue.

Advice on sending a knife to Golden?
So a few months ago, I sent my Domino back to Golden because it had developed some up and down blade play. Spyderco said they would not repair the knife because they thought the knife was disassembled. The knife at the time had never been disassembled, but the pivot screw was a bit chewed up from pi...

I'm in Michigan, so depending on where it is, I'm in! Matt Same here. I'm in the Metro-Detroit area. I would love to say that I would be able to go, no matter where it might be. For the incredible deals and to participate with other Spydie-nuts in a fun event I would be willing to drive 2-4 hours. ...

All three of mine came tip down. It seems funny that they come that way, since almost everyone ends up switching it! Not everyone, but most.

Either a Swick or a Para 2. Sal said there most likely not doing any other runs of the Swick. So get it now! And get some Halpern Titanium G-10 scales for it.
