Roger, for some unknown reason, that one has yet to excite collectors very much. Average price in NIB condition has been around $90 for the longest time. Anything less conditionwise and the price drops rapidly. Have actually suggested one of these as a cost saving alternative to an original Tufram ...

Few would argue that FRN is not durable. It is and its cheaper to make knife handles too. That said, it feels cheap, plastic, compared to micarta and G10. Often knives from it are viewed as disposable.

You should not really need anything. Why would you? J. Smith got it right. For freeing rusy parts or short term lubrication WD-40 is good. But as the volitile fuids dry it can make parts gummier and it can hold dirt and crap.

The UK penknife may not have a lock but it is one very fine folder. Basic, Calypso ergonomics with finer materials, G-10 and SV30, plus a wir clip that nearly makes clip carry undetectable. This American gives it a strong thumbs up. I would agree that a lock it would make it better but it is still a...

At work I carry a Meerkat, mainly because of the deep carry pocket clip does not read as a knife. Weekends I carry Calypso Jr.

I was about ten years old my father gave me my first knife. I can't remember what it was. I am 58 now.

Switchblades are illegal but there is store in a suburb boardering New Orleans, Metarie that even advertises switchblades in the phone book. Its called Alpine Jewelery (they started out selling jewelery and still do) and they claim to stock over 5000 knives. They do have a very large selection at go...

I did not like the way compression locks on the ones I had nipped at my fingers unless I paid close attention. I am no great fan of liner locks. The tried and true lockback has been good enough for me. The only time I have had one fail was fail to lockup due to dirt in the lock. That was from my car...

I think the op is looking for a titanium bladed endura / delica. I don't know of any of those being made ever. I think both were produced in small runs with titanium handles. Please inform me if this is incorrect.
