Re: G10 UKPK officially makes a return! Heinnie Haynes Exclusive

Do you guys in Europe buy from Lamnia? I only ask this because I've actually bought knives from them (including currency conversion and shipping back to the USA) and had them come out _cheaper_ than USA based retailers. I bought my super blue stretch from lamnia, very good company. As you are in th...

Chinese clones on Amazon France/Germany and Spain

Noticed a Chinese company selling clones on Amazon.fr today labelled as OEM Spyderco. They even have a sponsored listing so their knives come up first  https://www.amazon.fr/sp?_encoding=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=&isCBA=&marketplaceID=A13V1IB3VIYZZH&orderID=&seller=A2...

Re: Sheffield, England Steel and Cutlery: What happened and can it be "rebooted"

Well that's good news and I'm glad to hear it. I couldn't imagine Jaguars and Rolls being made anywhere else but the UK. It' seems like many of the European nations are hanging on to their heritage much better than the USA has done in the past 20 years or so. Hi JD, it's not quite as good news as i...

Re: Please help a British Bobby find his knife!

Try a plain/serrated clip it tool

https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/detail ... rrated/857

You'll have money left over for the UKPK and you might as well buy a Sharpmaker as well to maintain them and keep them sharp.

Re: Shipping of internal parts

A while ago I accidentally dropped my Military and the blade started hugging the clip side. Unfortunately this knife was one of those affected by the red loctite fiasco. I decided to take the knife apart and re-apply blue loctite. I managed to unscrew all the screws successfully apart from one pivot...

Re: Please recommend a decent little flashlight

I bought an Olight S1R II a couple of weeks ago, it's awesome!!! If you're quick you can still benefit from the cyber monday sale https://www.olightstore.com/led-flashlights/all-flashlights/olight-s1r-ii-baton I wish I'd got the titanium version now but I'm still really happy, it's quality through a...

Try Cuscadi as previously mentioned or Suingab, both are based in the EU, if you don't see what you want then send an email and I'm sure they'll be able to do something for you.

Re: Red Loctite Legacy...

I'd try using a hair dryer, which should get things hot enough to soften the Loctite without damaging anything else, rather than a heat gun. Thanks Paul I'll give it a shot next time I get a chance, I think I read that red loctite needs 500 degrees fahrenheit to melt the bond. I was thinking about ...

Red Loctite Legacy...

So this is my first post in while and it's a bit of a rant. A while ago I dropped my 204p Millie and it developed some bad blade play. It's one of my favorite knives so a couple of days ago I decided to strip it down and reassemble it with new loctite. I got the body screws off using the end of a na...

bleh, those colours remind me of something nasty that's floated to the top of a septic tank. Why not something like sapphire blue or seafoam green?

Re: Knife for Maritime Academy Student

Hi Pantheon and welcome to the forum. For the environment and type of work you are describing you would be better off purchasing blades in H1 or LC200N. H1 performs extremely well in serrated form so maybe you'd like to try a Salt 2 (I believe they now come with the exact same handle as the Delica)....

Re: Care and feeding of M4

Don't take the dlc coating for granted, it can still rust underneath. Just don't do anything silly with it like take it to the beach or on a fishing trip and not clean it after. Wipe it with mineral oil once or twice a month and you should be ok. Make sure to inspect the rest of the knife once in a ...

Hey Bloke, I think you need a new pair of specs, seems like you're having a few difficulties recognising your Kiwi's and Pom's. That's Aaron Lennon the England and Everton soccer player. In true Pom spirit he's never won anything of note :) Anyhow, here’s a picture of a Kiwi and his Trophy Cabinets....

This has been covered before and unfortunately it looks like it will never happen :( Hi, Sorry for the confusion. I was referring to the Calypso Jr in FRN. Didn't mean to hijack the thread. My bad. As mentioned, it should probably be a different thread. As for a USPK locker, probably not going to ha...
