Do you sell those? I'm about to splurge on a szabo as soon as I decide which version I want. I'd LOVE to have a belt pouch identical to yours!

Re: Best Law Enforcement knife?
If you weren't dead set on a combo edge I'd suggest the manix 2 with DLC (black) blade. Hard use rated lock, and smooth, EASY one hand deployment.

Mine was stiff. I used it for a week as my edc, and now it's perfect.

Re: Which Non sprint/exclusives?
I know you don't want to hear this, but $400 won't get you too much as far as diversity. I think every spyderco collection should have a delica or endura (or both if you can swing it). To me those 2 blades are the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word "spyderco". I think a ve...

Re: best all around steel for folding knife use?
I guess what I was trying to get at was if you were pressed into choosing one blade steel for using the rest of your life. Similar to the thread about choosing only one knife. I don't have a lot of experience with as wide of variety steels as some of you on here. I've used aus 8, 440c, 420hc, vg-10,...

I don't think it's silly at all to have 2 of the EXACT same knife! I own 3 delicas (can you tell I like them? I can keep one in each of my vehicles, and still have one in my pocket.

Re: No more messing around...
I am very surprised nobody has mentioned the Gayle Bradley folder. No, it's not stainless, but I've had zero issues with rusting, and it's easy to get a ridiculously sharp edge on it. The build quality is off the charts. EVERYTIME I pull it out of the safe to carry it I can't help to admire the leve...

Re: Broke Pocket Clip On My Delica
The manix 2 is a great knife, but be aware it is a pocket hog. Much larger than the delica 4. That said, my manix 2 is riding in my front right pocket now!

Re: Sharpmaker question
Thanks for the replies, and yes,I do own the diamond rods. I was just curious if the extra effort using the fine stones is wasted due to the typical materials I cut.

Sharpmaker question
I've been using a sharpmaker for over a year now and have been happy with the results I've gotten. My question is regarding coarse edge vs fine edge performance. For the knives I use daily, is it really necessary to finish on the fine stone, or is stopping after the brown sufficient? I've read of so...

I reprofile all my knives to the 30 degree backbevel angle with the diamond hones. Once I've apexed the edge, I go through the medium and fine stones. Then I put a 40 degree microbevel on using the brown and white stones. This approach has worked best for me thus far. Once that 30 degree bevel is se...
