My Sharpmaker really do have an angle problem. I compared it to a new one and noticed that the left side is is taller tha the right side.

Fortunally, I think I solved the problem by putting some tape under the base.

But.... Since I'm not confident enough with this ...

I bought a new sharpmaker 204, and it seems defective. I tried several different knives, both in 30 and 40 degrees, and the left bevel becomes almost twice as big as the right bevel. <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I made a terrible thing... I was cleaning my Millie and took out the blade for lubricating.

Then I put it back on, but it doesn't look right. There's a lot of blade play...



I can't send it to Spyderco because I live in Brazil, and the cost and time for that would be prohibitive ...

Here in Brazil the largest caliber I can use is .380 for pistols and .38 for revolvers.
As a collector, shooter and hunter, I have lot's of guns...
For everyday carry, I use a Beretta 84F (.380) and sometimes a .38 SPL Mod.1 Derringer.

I got my first Spyderco about 8/9 years ago.
It was a SS Police SE.
A friend of the Law School (today my partner) showed me that knife and I got crazy about it.
Since we both are shooters, I traded the knife for a box of Silvertips .380s an a box of CCI small pistol primers.
