Re: Southard assembly question
Well, rule #1 is always pay super close attention to how it comes apart so you can avoid these issues. That said, I believe the bearings are slightly offset to one side or the other, and I think the side with the balls sticking out more belongs on the blade side. However, you may also just need to ...

Re: Southard assembly question
I am having the opposite problem; my southard does not completely flip open. I have wrist flick or manually open to finish opening the blade. After hearing some say how well it flips I wondered if there was some friction occurring preventing it from flipping open. So I decided maybe it needs a clea...

Southard assembly question
i took my southard apart to clean and re lube with nano oil. Now that its cleaned and put back together it is not flipping as smoothly as before. Im wondering if there is a specific way the bearings are supposed to be put in? And if so is there a way to tell what way they go? Thanks for any help.

Re: defect in my native 5 frn?
I tried a few spine wacks and that didnt fix the problem. i called gp knives and they said to me that this is a production knife and not all production knives are made perfectly. That they are out of stock of native 5 and i would be better off calling aoyderco to get it replaced. So i was going to c...

defect in my native 5 frn?
I received 2 of these in the mail today and notice on one of them the lock button doesnt sit flush with the handle when the blade is deployed. The jimping on the handle also doesnt sit flush with the jimping on the blade. Seems like the lock bar piece is sort of tilted back a little. Is this somthin...

I love my techno too. When I first got mine it was difficult to open and was very stiff. Once you break it in it becomes super smooth.

Re: Native5 LW
Is this a totally new clip or has it been used before on a different model? Thanks for the pics. I believe its a new clip. Its similar to the tenacious clip. But still a little different. Not to fond of it. No where close to deep carry with this knife. But its still a great knife so i can live with...

Re: Native5 LW
Finally here after a long wait. Well worth it though. Can already see this thing being in my pocket for a while. The only thing i would change is i wish it had the same pocketclip as the g10 version so i could put my deep carry clip on. Perfect knife though. Great job spyderco. http://i1293.photobuc...

Re: Southard or Domino?
I would deffinately go with the southard. I was also trying to decide between the 2 and i chose the domino but when i got it right away i realized it just wasnt for me. Then i bought a southard snd wow, its an awsome knife. The domino felt too bulky in my hand and my pocket. The southard does have a...

Re: Techno ordered
I just bought one about 2 weeks ago. For a while i never really had interest in it. But then one day i watched a youtube video on it and decided to give it a shot. Its been in my pocket ever since. Love it, its my new favorite knife. Feels great in hand. Super smooth action. Fit and finish is top no...

Re: Best Law Enforcement knife?
I would go on the forums and find an all black citadel. Fast deployment since its an auto. Handles have pretty good grip. Bulkier knife fits good in hand evan with a glove on.
