You will notice that I did not install the lanyard tube. Since the scale is thinner, the stock lanyard tube is too long. Since I do not use lanyards, I chose to leave the tube out. If you want a shortened tube, Gatorscales sells them.

Weight definitely registers more if you carry loose in your pocket, at least that's how it works for me. Second to that is how loose your clothes fit and how active you're gonna be while in those clothes....so if you wear jeans and are going about casually, you can probably carry a 10oz knife clipp...
