Thanks for the answer Simple Man. I think I'll refrain from forcefully press fitting any pins. :) The lock up on this CF Mili is perfect anyway. Sometime when I get a moment, I'll have to see if the pivot interchanges with my old ATS-34 Mili.

Mili and Lil Temp Pivots?

This evening I was going through my knife parts. I found an eccentric pivot that I think belonged to a Lil Temp that I had long ago. Did Spyderco use the same eccentric pivot for the Military and the Lil Temp? Could an eccentric pivot be dropped into a new CF BG42 Mili?

Thanks!
Matt

Is it a fixed blade or a folder? If it is a fixed blade, then Justin at Ranger Knives can probably help you out. He makes customs for people from their drawings all the time.

Here a few of my favorite Bark Rivers. The first is a Tapered Tang Northstar with Yellow Micarta, Brick Red Spacers, and Mosaic Pins. The Second is a Sandstorm A in Green Micarta, Black Micarta, and a Red Spacer. The final one is a Gameskeeper in Orange G-10. If it's not a Bark River or a Spyderco, ...

I'll say Waved E4 and Native, just because the only thing better than 1 Spyderco is 2 Spydercos. Seriously though, the E4 Wave is by far one of my favorite knives ever. It is such a great combo of price, lightweight, durability, novelty, and performance. It is just a great knife.

Lil Temp and Military both feel great in the hand. I am not sure if my Yojimbo fits my hand or if my hand has learned to fit it, but I find it very comfortable to use as well.

It looks like the blade and clip have been bead blasted as well. That is a slick looking mod.

I like a mirror polish or near mirror polish. Coatings and other finishes, like bead blasting hinder the cut. I also find that mirror polished blades seem to be more resistant to rust.

Well I got my Lil Temps. I can now see clearly what the hype is about! I am such a sucker for the flat ground Spydies. I love how the handle slabs hide the grind line. The broad blade is a great shape for general utility. The grip feels great in just about any grip. I love that the cutting edge come...
