Re: Does Made in America Need to be Expensive?
Im sure production costs on 3D contoured and precision milled g10 to accept nested compresion lock is way higher than 2 slabs of aluminum. Plus theres also all the r&d that goes into getting the heat treat right to balance steel spring of compression lock as well as hardness of lock interface. I...

Re: recomendations for deep carry wire clip for my Manix 2
Just be aware that the black clips are slightly shorter than the foundry clip, so the contact point does sit halfway on the textured frn. This does tend to wear on the edge of the pocket somewhat.. I don't mind, but not really for carrying in pants you don't want worn down

When I ordered the spare clips from sfo I asked for the sage 1 clips. I'm fairly certain it's the same one...

If you're looking for a sub 3" backlock frn model with high edge retention, closest current production is probably dragonfly in zdp189

Think I'll pass. Too many s90v natives. Shame this wasn't commissioned by KW in 204P with the dark green 10 to match their milli and para2. I'd be all over that. Or a M4/CF

Nice! I'd totally buy a production version of that
I've always been on the fence with the gb1 and gb2 but a 3" version I'd buy in a second

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Saving $10 is not a good reason to shop at knifeoutlet. Generally not a great customer experience. As well as $10 cannot be qualified as "Crazy deal" And frankly it is disappointing for me to see how this thread lately started to degrade from "Crazy deals" to "how to save f...

Re: Caly 3 HAP40 dropped
Soooo...Hand-tools just emailed me back. The 1 showing in stock today was not real. They got 5 yesterday and sold them in 30 min. :( Is it worth pre-ordering (KC or elsewhere) at this point, or just hunt and seek now?? I got the same email from hand-tools. Doesn't look like they'll be able to fill ...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Hand tools is listing native cf s90v at $207 plus shipping, which still makes it slightly below MAP. Most retailers seem to be charging $250. Haven't tried them before, but just ordered a hap40 caly from them.

You could get a key ring through the lanyard hole and attach a clip to the ring or multiple rings to get it sitting deeper
