Oh no, a Kapara with a linerlock would have very narrow handles at the lock cutout. Plus with such a small distance from the pivot to the contact point of the lock it would be a weak linerlock probably. A backlock could work probably, but I much prefer the compression lock's smooth operation

For me it's the SpydieChef definitely. But I'm wondering, what is up with the SpydieChef 2? Has the design been abandoned? It was shown 6 years ago, so I'd guess plenty of time to figure it out?

I would rather guess that the Millie 2 can be cheaper as it's really similar to the Para 2 in structure and geometry so it can probably use the same machines with just some small tweaks to the process parameters. That 15V Millie 2 is a must buy, exactly what I was waiting for (an interesting tool steel version without micarta). And possibly being regular production means I might actually be able to buy it :D

I also never had a Seki knife where You couldn't get rid of lateral play. They might become a bit stiff to open, but backlocks are never really smooth either way...
