Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
if you don't wear lw or baggy clothing, the heavier knives feel more sturdy in hand and can be more desirable. So not benefits per se, just personal preference. You don't GAIN anything, just LIKE to feel something bricky in hand :winking-tongue Heavier (full liners and lock back) sound better when ...

Re: Am I the only one wishing for a Salty Magnacut Linerless Police 4 LW?
Yeah, I know about the liners, that's why I mentioned the Endura which also has liners and a Salty alter ego. But I guess the Police, a pocket sword that it is, is a much less popular knife which makes it a less financially sound idea I wasn't thinking about SE honestly, but good to know the Seki te...

Re: Blade type what you like?
I'm an all PE kinda guy, but never had the pleasure to use a full SE knife. However I'm 100% sure I hate combo edges. The serrated part is too short to be useful and it makes the plain part harder to use... I need to find a knife I like enough and that's inexpensive enough to want two pieces of it b...

Am I the only one wishing for a Salty Magnacut Linerless Police 4 LW?
Was reading one of the Stretch XL threads and everyone was going on about a salty version yet I almost never see the Police 4 LW proposed in the same context. Is there some reason for that? Am I missing something? The endura has its salty brethren, and shares same construction with the P4LW. If size...

Re: Folder Survey ’23 - Your Preferences Needed!
Also filled mine out. I wonder how I'll stack up to the average. The questions, by being single choice, were really tough most of the time, forced me to actually consider what my deep-down preferences are instead of recalling recent knife flings ^^

Re: Pocket Clip Sizing/Compatibility Info
Does anyone know if there is any deep carry clip on the market that can be fit to the Resilience/Tenacious? I don't care about the lanyard tube, so it can be covered up no worries. I'm looking for existing production clips, not custom ones such as lynch/mxgear. Any of the ZT or BM ones would work?

Re: M4 Shaman vs Cruwear PM2 vs GB2
Yup, disassemble and dunk just the blade. Maybe not absolutely necessary as the rest is rather stainless (not sure about the PB washers), but I'd wager better results. And maybe put some tape circles on the blade where the washers operate (though I didn't and the action wasn't affected)

Re: M4 Shaman vs Cruwear PM2 vs GB2
You can easily "fix" that issue with M4 by dunking it in warm vinegar for an hour or so. Makes a nice and even patina, won't corrode much in use. Just make sure You degrease the blade before. That's of course if You don't mind the darker grey color

Why not go all the way - make it in a lightweight/FRN version with a deep carry wire clip as well <3

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Still hoping that, despite all the noise, someone notices the questions about a release date and answers those :no-mouth Nothing has been announced yet. It will probably appear in an upcoming Reveal catalog before we know anything. If we’re lucky it will be in the next one. Products in Reveal catal...

Re: Military 2
I would also be great if there were some experiments with contouring the scales. Do something like Shiro's do on F3. And a decent, hobbyist-level stainless to boot

Magnacut Kapara with textured but still contoured Red Carbon Fiber (fat carbon, dyed conventional CF or dyed marble CF doesn't matter which really), red ano standoffs instead of backspacer and different blade finish (shiro-like glass bead blast?)
