Why is the blade steel upside down?

Racing Red? That's what I did with my white Manix LW.

Swap the lock bar when you swap the blade. The lock bar material is chosen according to the blade material. They go together.

Very nice color after an additional 1.5 hours at a 7:1 ratio. I can't seem to figure out how to post a picture here, even in full editor mode.

With roughly 1 oz dye to 7 oz water it is now taking color, but it is definitely not a 5 minute thing. It will probably be an hour at this concentration. A little dish soap but no vinegar - the bottle and the web site don't mention vinegar for DyeMore.

It is simmering on the stove, so it is hot. I was using less than half of what you use so I just added some more dye to the pot.

Maybe FRCP scales take more time and dye than FRN.
