Man I went from using XP a lot to using Windows 8.0 and I suddenly remembered what it was like to be computer illiterate again. I couldn't open up apps, I couldn't do what I wanted to do - thoroughly frustrating.

I've upgraded to 8.1 and while it is a bit better, I still hate it with a passion.

Not a fan of the looks to be honest, but life would be boring if everyone liked the same stuff!

That's really interesting to see the ball lock like that - what's the ball actually made of? Looks like ceramic or polyurethane from the pictures but I'd imagine it wouldn't be either of those!

Just eaten my dinner, but I guarantee I could squeeze one of those down right now!

Gonna have to try that - assuming if you needed to take out the screw again in the future, the loctite/nail varnish would crack when you applied pressure and unscrewed it?

Sorry to bump an old thread - the Atwood tools seems to get a whole lot of love everywhere I look. I'm probably asking a dumb question here, but I don't understand the appeal, nor what people would use them for! Please enlighten me of you are an Atwood fan!! What material are they made from? G10?

They kinda look like the brown scales on the Benchmade 300 Axis - which feels great in the hand - might have to pick up myself a couple of sets.
