As a person that has field tested majority of the Spyderco knives that are geared towards hunting I would recommend the Bill Moran (FB01 or FB02) - either one is great. I like the fact it has the Kydex sheath with the tek-lok so I can position it on my sling. When my husband is feeling like we forgo...

I don't think they made all these style blades. I would guess the knife blade has been shortened with sharpenings and that changes the look of the upper grind.

I would call Spyderco - I believe once you take it apart and something goes wrong you void your warranty. I bet if you called them for a small fee they would fix it for you and it would be under warranty. I don't like to take chances - especially on a loved ones knife.

I would go through the Spyderco warranty department. I believe for $25.00 they can regrind the blade or if the break is really bad they can replace the blade for a fee as well. I wouldn't grind the blade yourself because it could void your warranty as a non-spyderco alteration. Give Amanda in Warran...

If it is #204, he/she are not a definate in the collector club. The collector program only does numbers 000 to 200. If the model was ever numbered over 200 they went to anybody.

Hey Travis! Hope all is well. Ed doesn't need to worry about the HAG wipes for you - I still have an extra box of them in my office in case you run out.
Its great to hear from you, it's been awhile. We sure miss you in the Spyderco world. Keep up with the posts.

For all of you that haven't taken one on Michaels classes - they are great! His classes teach you things that can help you in a situation that is common in our streets today. He is not about swords and what some folks are considering Ninja (all definitions given on previous post but ninja). As a wom...

Sal - Opinions for the forum are great to have but I wouldn't think you as the owner would want to change your best sellers. You could be taking a gamble on changing the best when you know it sells. If the public doesn't like the change then where do you pick up your best revenue. If I did have to c...

How rare is it

I found an item on ebay that said it is rare. It is a ss tie clip that looks like a worker and has a spyderco bug in the handle. I know it's not the police model tie clip - I have that one. Any thoughts?

Can someone help me understand the collectors program! Should a person belong to it so they get first crack at the product or do you join for the collector value of getting one of the first out of the first production run?

If it's a Spyderco they are all good. In my Spyderco edge-ucation, I have always been taught the VG10 is a better steel. For 1 there is more carbon in VG10 that will allow for a harder steel that will not chip as easily and will hold an edge much longer. I have both versions ATS55 & VG10 Delica ...

Great collector pieces

I can't believe the great pieces on ebay right now. As usual most are the everyday common ones but there are some great collection pieces. Does anyone know when that diver was first produced?

Maddox opinion

I have recently been put in a cast and only have use of one hand at the moment. Is there someone that has experience using the Maddox for the purpose it was actually designed for? I was thinking of buying one but would like some input first.

I have worked in shipping and receiving in the past and believe it or not the best knife I have found to use was the Spyderco kitchen knives. The shape of the blade and serrations were perfect for cardboard and any Spyderco knife can be put to the test when cutting tape and plastic wrap. I think the...

The catalog with the C76 featured is the 2003 catalog. Spyderco has not yet come out with the 2004. The C76 was a limited run and they only made 500. Spyderco has been sold out for a few months but I'm sure you can still find them in the market place, if not on Ebay.

Buzzbait...there is a Spyderco that is flat ground in a larger version with a great steel. One on their top sellers...The Endura lightweight. You can't get a better all purpose knife than that.
