Re: What to do with chipped corners on Sharpmaker rods?

Ascending fine grits of wet sandpaper seem to do the trick for me thus far. It's definitely an annoyance having to deal with the chips, but you can sand them out a couple of times before having to replace them. (haven't replaced mine yet) Just be careful you only remove the necessary amount; you don...

Thats a beautiful site right there
Glad you like it! :D
I've been carrying it several times since I got it and I definitely plan on keeping it in the collection.
Great looking knife and a scratch or scuff won't hurt as much as it does with the first scratch on a brand new knife! :p

Re: Spyder Holes from Factory Outlet

I would even settle for one out of however many thousands are made if I just knew the hole came from that model knife. I reckon that would be feasible :) At least for some of the models made locally as a test to see if enough people would be interested in the concept. And yeah, drilling a hole into...

I'm still hoping for a production version of Sal's pendant...
Me too! I’ve always wanted one!

It's probably impossible but I always thought it would be super cool to have the actual holes that come out of the knife you buy.
That'd would be awesome for damascus models!
But it sounds like a logistical nightmare :p

Re: It figures

Hi DutchBlades, I've got a plastic model of your Dragon design that we made as a feasibility study. sal That is amazing news! Thank you so much considering it! :D I had it in mind as a knife that would lend itself well to a more detailed grip by using the spine as a thumb rest as well as a regular ...

Re: It figures

I'd be up for a new Dyad for sure! :) I wish there'd be a full sized Dyad with the Micro Dyad flair... Bolsters and bone/pearl/wood/shell/etc. inlays would look great on a larger scale. Would probably bump up the MSRP considerably which could reduce the amount of potential buyers though; thus making...

That would be awesome of you! :D And if shipping a chainsaw isn't a big deal, I suppose I knife would be fine :p I don't know if the price/date is officially announced yet, but I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks! :) Just lemme know. I aim to get at least 1 Dodo myself. Did you get a chance to buy ...

Re: BladeHQ M4 Jade Dodo

Is there anyone who's able to purchase one of the Dodo's and ship it to the Netherlands seeing how BladeHQ don't tend to ship internationally for a single knife? Yes, I suppose I can. I once sold a ported ( really powerfull ) chainsaw to a guy in New Zealand. Dont see why I couldn't send a knife to...

Re: White Handle

It's difficult to prevent color bleeding into white FRN when molding and getting a pure white blend in the first place (same goes for G10). It'll discolor easily due to anything from UV, grease, and skin oils, to the dye in your jeans, and dirt from use. Sure, it looks nice and I agree it does (I li...

There are other solutions purposefully built to act like a wave, so you might want to look into those ;)
