Terzuola C15PS - bought 1992 Al scales, 50/50 edge Was my EDC until I got jumpy about the blade being a bit longer than legal. I considered buying many different knives in the meantime but none ever seemed worth buying when compared to the Terzuola. **** of a knife to start your collection with. Pro...

Wow!

I really like that. Especially the slightly different blade profile, a bit more belly. I think I would prefer steel to Ti for liners that thin, although the potential for colouring is attractive and I imagine its light as a feather. Did you actually reduce the thickness of the blade at the ricasso, ...

I noticed that my fingernail on my right index finger was almost SHAVED off down the middle of the nail at the very tip! LOL! I tried manipulating the :spyder: fly slowly, and still dunno how I was contacting the blade...Oh well! LOL! I found that my nail was getting 'shaved' due to the arbasivenes...

I am no expert in these cases so my opinions could easily be completely wrong! Two can play that game! :) I also agree that to back down in certain situations might be a sign of weakness but if a confrontation is inevitable, I prefer the assailant to think that they have the upper hand! There is no...

I see where you're coming from, but, to me, the beauty of a spydie is in its function, and getting its function as close to perfect (for you) as possible, is the goal. Those holes might look ugly, comrpomising or superfluous, but they are also a representation of the spyderco ethic, form follows fun...

Hmmmm... If it were to be my only knife, then it would be the Perrin. Can do just about anything with it.

If other knives would be available then it would probably be the Calypso Jr, for EDC, although my new Yojimbo would give it a run for its money.

Hi UK KEN, when I read you earlier post, it struck me as very well put, but I wanted to offer a couple of counterpoints to your comments. I suppose I was reading your post from a general perspective, since I haven't really followed this case. The injuries received by the accused (from photographs ta...

I don't have a cricket but do have a dodo, PE as not a big fan of serrations. While I like it and agree on the cutting power, I think that something like the calypso jr ltwt is a better all round edc, more versatile and easier to sharpen. Servicability is not such an issue for the sort of light edc ...

The tip isn't as thin as it appears. Although the stock is quite thin, the profile is about as wide as a BM 42 near the tip (superimpose the two and see). I think the tip has the illusion of being thin due to the short, wide blade. I love it, too. I think the ball lock is great. It comes second only...
