Meh, vg10 is stainless enough for me and I have no use for a knife in the shower.
Seriously if someone tries to attack me in the shower I'm just gonna run full speed towards them and we'll see who the victim is.
What I really need for the shower is a 1911 in LC200N. :)

Re: Unpopular Blade Steels That You Like?

JD, I have never used a Victorinox kitchen knife. I was referring to the ubiquitous Swiss Army Knife. I love my F. Dick too. I just always assumed they used some sort of budget steel. The knife are only $20-$30. They are a lot like Dexter Russel knives and DR uses a proprietary steel similar to 420H...

Re: Unpopular Blade Steels That You Like?

I have a soft spot for SAKs and their gummy soft butter knife blades in some low grade stainless. I have a couple cheap knives in unnamed steels that I like. One is an F. Dick boning knife that has processed hundreds and hundreds of pounds of fish and game. 440A, 440B, surgical stainless and rostfre...

I love it. I wear it once in a while. I have been looking for a backup for years. Definitely hard to find.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Didn’t Spyderco say that they were gonna try trickling the sprints out to make them potentially easier to find? Maybe this run will trickle out like that?

Re: Sent Brouwer in for bottoming out lock. Returned completely untouched

It doesn’t appear as though you modified the lock so they should have covered it in my opinion.

In my opinion you are not handling this appropriately.

It is a shame that two wrongs don’t make a right. Huh?

Even a very sharp edge will not cut you without a slicing motion...
Then it isn’t truly a very sharp edge.

Re: CRUWEAR for all!

That Cru-carta Shaman would have been a heck of a production knife. 1200 is just the tip of the demand iceberg for that one. Hopefully some dealer does a Cruwear Shaman exclusive in a different color Micarta like Burgundy, Denim, or Green with 1200 Satin and 1200 DLC. My hunch is that this one will...
