I JUST started in Dec of 2013...

In basically a month of time I've already obtained a Sage 2, Caly 3.5, Delica, Stretch, and Chaparral!!! ...and there's no end in sight! :eek:

Since you said 3ish, the Chaparral is VERY thin and a great EDC.

I prefer the ergonomics of the Chaparral handle to be better than the Dragonfly, and I also find it rides less obtrusively in a pocket because it's thinner than a Dragonfly. Well, I hate to say I told ya so, but I told ya so (not you directly, but "the forum"). A few months ago everyone freaked and was buying them at $175 and saying they were never going to get back down to $100. Well, there ya have it. Patience is a virtue. Not only that but, it's refreshing...

For me it's an extremely capable EDC that I don't have to worry about being too hard on in use due it's relatively lower price point to my other folders. It's also very comfortable to hold and carry...the ergos are great (and I have huge hands).

I thought I'd want a choil as well on the Delica....until I got one in my hands! It really doesn't need it and, I can see why it is one of the most used/carried EDC blades out there. To put a choil on it would mean it would no longer be a Delica.

So basically...what is being said is grAy is the correct spelling!!! :D

Hopefully Sal or another representative from the company will chime in on what they found was wrong with the one that was sent in. Like you, I initially didn't like looks of the Southard but, now I find myself really wanting one. I won't pull the trigger though until I know this was just a freak ano...

So, my current lineup is now: Delica FRN, Stretch, Sage 2, and Chaparral. I also have a Vic Cadet on the keychain for sheeple and utility.

I do like variety so, that being said, what would you all suggest as a next purchase to fill in the gaps for basic EDC stuff?

I have a Victorinox Cadet on my key chain at all times and then either my Sage 2, Chaparral, Delica, or Stretch (for now...)
