Re: CPM REX 45 | Edge Performance
You guys are definitely right about all these new releases seemingly every week. It's been crazy the past few months! I have a Rex45 Para 3 and am guilty of the same...plus its so hard for me to put away my beloved M4 and M390. Spyderco has such a variety of steels... Your telling me. This is what ...

Re: Argh, Para 3 dilemma!
You like M390 and polished edges and BBS has them avaliable now. Get it now. Your lukewarm on XHP steel and there’s no guarantee you will get in on the initial CS rush. So you could be empty handed after the drop date. Remember St Nicks sold out in 40 minutes unless you wanted the package knives deal.

Re: zdp-189 Delica...any good?
I have had a full serrated zdp for many years. I have a sharpmaker and a wicked edge but I have never sharpen the delica full serrated blade. The tip has gotten a bit chippy over the years but still a workhorse.

Re: Does anybody else really dislike the look of spyderco knives?
I just cant get over how gross it looks, I hate how much wider it is and how its shaped with the hole in it. Am I the only one? This reminds me of a post on akfiles.com by akpete. Post was made in 2006 titled “I guess I’m being snubbed on this forum”. It is up to 499k views and gets replied to dail...

Re: Casey Lynch Short Clip vs. MXG Gear Short Clip
I just ordered two of the Lynch Northwest para 3 clips. Their design is kicked over to the side and doesn’t cover the lanyard hole at all. And they were only $18 each.

Re: St. Nick's Knives Exclusive Para 3
I am kidding myself so bad. I tell myself I have all the para versions that I want. Like I passed on the S35V steel (good steel but the combo did nothing for me). But I know there will be more versions soon and I am just gonna want to get it. And when they sell as fast as the St nicks version it is ...

Your telling me. I have purchased 6 para 3’s all different exotic steels in the last 3 weeks. My credit card is a little worn out getting used up lately.

I have one on my jeep.
And the SIG sticker is for the P226 old school. Not the new tangled polymer guns.

Ahhh ha! So this is peel ply. I received my knife today, a purchase from a forum member and it is beautiful. Kinda strange but the carbon fiber feels cool to the touch as compared to my other para 3’s.

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery
It would be cool if there was a second run of these knives in the same steel. Exact model so the flippers would not make money because they would not be rare anymore.

Re: St. Nick's Knives Exclusive Para 3
Interesting update: St. Nick's Knives quotes the HRC as being between 62.5 and 64 hrc, according to their livestream on Instagram just now. link? Don’t need a link. It’s on the internet so it has to be true. ;) Not that I don’t believe peeps on this forum. A certain other forum, well that is a diff...

Re: CF para3 S90V
Most other knife manufacturers have CF knives with titanium on the lock side and CF on the presentation side. I like this model having CF on both sides.

CF para3 S90V
I was just curious about what the forum thinks about this knife combo. With all the different blade combinations to have come out recently and at a much lower price for the para 3, I just don’t hear much about this model. Do people just prefer the S110V over the 90V at $50 lower price? I wanted carb...

Welcome to the forum!
In my experience, some retailers don't necessarily use "discontinued", when a knife is out of production. "Out of stock" might be all you ever see.
Damm, was afraid of that. Gonna have to get serious on my searching if I really want some of these.

Re: 3V or 4V Steel in a folder.
I have a hinderer “sparrow” it is the only version they made in 3V. I use that folder when I go camping. Wonderful steel that performs well for me and my camping, cutting uses. I would not have to have 4V, the 3V is good enough and would get one in a para 3 if offered.

Re: Spyderco Para 3 Varieties, News & Modifications
At dealers many of the past releases show “out of stock” What I don’t understand is if there will be more releases or was that it and it’s secondary market only now? For instance the carbon fiber S90V is there possibility of it being back in stock? I am not a have to have it now guy, I can wait for ...
