Re: Favorite sci-fi movies?
I don't know if anyone has mentioned Automata but I watched it a couple of weeks ago and found it entertaining. It's not a high-budget blockbuster but a good movie nonetheless.

Sportco has the best selection that I've seen in Washington.rangefinder wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 5:18 pm
There's a local store called Sportco in Fife that has some Spydercos. Sportco has a sister store called Outdoor Emporium in Seattle, but it's been so many years since I was in it that I don't know what they carry in that store now.

Re: Go Get Your Anchor! True Beer Stories
I have been wondering what was going on with Stone. They have been my go-to brand for years also but I haven't seen any on the shelf at my local grocery store for months. I've been getting the variety pack at Costco. Just about every grocery store carries it. I guess their SoCal distributor is more...

Re: Go Get Your Anchor! True Beer Stories
My most tragic beer story would have to be the loss of Big Al Brewing, and in particular the loss of their Hop Villain black IPA. I stumbled across Hop Villain at one of the large beer and wine stores and it was a hit from the first sip. So full of flavor and so smooth. After a couple of years of ma...

Re: Go Get Your Anchor! True Beer Stories
I was mortified to learn that Sapporo also purchased Stone last year. Stone is my go-to brand. When you come here, you'll be served Stone... this might explain why Stone as deviated from their avante-garde brewing practices, and have been pumping out their "hazy" and "delicious"...

CAUTION: BLOOD AHEAD. :flushed Mine isn't as bad as some that I've seen on here. I had an older UKPK out in the rain and without really thinking I gave it a quick flick to get the water off of the blade before closing it. The blade snapped closed on my middle finger. It looked much worse than it act...

Re: Stuck screw
You can apply heat directly to the screw by holding a soldering iron on the screw head. Again, be careful not to damage the optic with too much heat.
