Washington Cop uses a Spydie
Not really important or prominent, just thought I'd add some proof that Spyderco knives are used by the pros. Be advised, this video is a body cam of an OIS (Officer involved shooting) and can be disturbing to some. Officers shoot a knife wielding suspect after he ignores many verbal commands and ru...

Re: Happy Birthday Officer Gigglez
Thanks for the Birthday wishes. And it just so happens I am going to the range later with the GP for qualifications.

Re: LCR 357 or 38+P
I went with a .38+P model because that is the only model they make with an external hammer. I've had it since early December last year and have about 1,000 rounds through it so far. It is still as tight as it was the day I opened the box. I always have it on me 24/7, either in an ankle rig or IWB, a...

Re: I knew this day would come...Spydie storage is full!
Jeez. I've been putting outlying funds towards my shooting/firearm hobby and hiking lately, and have been neglecting my knife fetish, so my Spydie collection is sitting at a piddly 8 or 9. I may need to step up my game here.
Benchmade
I'm aware of shiny footprints and such, and am not trying to create a spot for people to bash on the company. What I am trying to do is figure out if the company's blades are as good as people claim they are. I personally can't get into their designs myself, but if they're quality, I always have roo...

Re: Which Spyderco Knives Would You Like To See in K390?
The good old tried and true Endura and Delica would be cool by me in K390. Maybe utilize steel liners and G10 on the K390 Endura, with a thick blade grind, to make for a tough knife.

Re: Show off your latest purchase
Not a Spydie, but I am very impressed with it so here it is. Kershaw seems to have gotten their stuff together and may be back in the game, despite still outsourcing the manufacture of their blades to China. For a $35 knife, the build quality is considerable, with a few minor issues aside. http://i1...

Re: Why everyone should carry two (at least) knives for EDC
I already carry at least two. I keep one for social work with the bad guys and the other for utility. I don't use my social carry for anything, in the interest of keeping it in tip top shape should I need it. The Utility gets all of that work. Today I have a Pacific Salt for utility and an brown FRN...

Re: Machetes and Gurkha Kukri blades
I personally don't have a use for a Kukri, but I could use a machete in some of my hikes. However, generally, a small camp axe or large fised blade does that job. I suppose if the zombies attack a Kukri would be pretty **** useful, since it is pretty good at lopping off heads. Or maybe if I was in a...

Re: How About A Larger Scale Dodo Model?
I'd love one. But I want one with Black, Tan, or Olive G10 though. The blue wasn't doing it for me.
