I have the CF version, but I have been thinking on this purchase for a while! Due to the extreme popularity they will be around for a while so I'm going to wait till the end of this year! I echo what Remnar said about the smoothness! It feels like it's on a floating pivot, if you can imagine that! As far as the grip it is not as grippy as G10, more of a textured smooth feel to it!
