Those pictures look like the Ronin Hideout IWB sheaths by Mike Sastre of River City Sheaths. I don't have one myself, but I've seen some pictures of them on bladeforums, so a search there may provide you with more information on what you're looking for.

Hi CKE,
thanks for the welcome. I've been on the forums for a little over a year now but don't post very frequently.

Hope the sharpmaker works as well with your D2 as it has with mines.

Hi CKE,

I just finished reprofiling/sharpening a BM in D2. I found that the sharpmaker works quite well for the finishing edges, but takes quite awhile if you need to thin the edge out a bit. I ended up using a diamond hone to thin my edge out and used the ceramics to put my finishing edge. The ...

Chux,
Just to add on to what's already been said, you might want to try marking your edge with a magic marker to see if you're sharpening all the way to the edge. You'll want to make sure that you sharpen right to the edge before you finish off with the white ceramics. It might take some time to do ...

rorschach,
I understand that the particle steels generally have a larger grain structure (S60V especially), but the nicks mentioned on my VG-10 blade were not uniform with the grain on the remaining edge of the blade despite uniform sharpening (sharpening of the blade was finished using the coarse ...

Microchipping?

I was wondering if any of you have experienced micro-chipping on any of your spyderco blades.

I suspect that my Temperance may be experiencing micro-chipping and thought I'd ask to see if my suspicions are correct. When testing the edge on my fingernail, there is a noticeable skip along the ...

Hi Allan,
I'm curious whether you've had the chance to compare S30V and VG-10 in terms of impact resistance. I've been testing my VG-10 Spyderco fixed blades with some light impact testing and was curious if you have any experience with how well S30V holds up compared to VG-10 (I don't have any ...

Ted,
I'm pretty sure it says that... translated to english characters, it'd be:
Supaitako
Porisu Modoru (M) SS 50/50

Maybe a mislabel?

Just to elaborate on what VW said, a 3-1 sharpening method will produce a sharper edge, but I wouldn't say it's a "weak edge" at that. I'm sure he meant to say weaker, but it's important to clarify that S30V is an excellent steel and that I haven't had any problems with it chipping or rolling ...
