I would love for Spyderco to come out with a new pm2 sprint. I know Bentobox had an exclusive M390 pm2 with blue G-10 scales. It's impossible to get unfortunately and you will pay 3 x the price getting one second hand. On the site is says they might get more for 2014 but who knows. It's knife I want...

The only Sage I had was the 3 and I expected the blade tip to be sharper...long story short I was disappointed and retured it. Would you say the Sage 1 has a sharper/pointier blade tip ? If so, then it might be what I need. I thought the blade shape was the same on all three sage knives. The Sage 1...

Something definitely wrong if you can't close it one-handed. I would not own a knife like that, must be one-hand operable for me. After opening and closing it a few hundred time more or less, it's getting much easier to close. The blade is also deploying a lot faster. In fact it opens quicker than ...

It's possible this is a defect. I had to return a Leaf Storm once that had a crazy tight lock bar, I too had to use both hands to disengage it and Spyderco determined it was a manufacture defect and since they no longer made the Leaf Storm they let me pick out another knife, I chose Caly 3 Zdp-189....

If you're looking for a really awesome titanium spydie, the Sage 2 is absolutely amazing. I just got mine and I've never had a knife built so solid. The lockup is insane and the ergos are perfect. OTOH the techno has a more exotic steel. XHP has appealing characteristics (basically stainless D2 to m...

how is Sage 2 for smoothness? Its amazingly smooth HOWEVER its not quite as smooth as the Sage 1. My Sage 2 lock bar is ridiculously tight and it puts so much pressure against the tang that it actually somewhat slows down the blade while deploying. I need both hands to disengage the lock bar becaus...

It depends on the price I pay I suppose. On a relatively expensive knife (for me about $150 +), I would hope that the blade is centred. If its a tad off no big deal but I would PREFER a nicely centred blade. I understand it takes ridiculous amounts of time, effort, money, skill etc to make a perfect...

Not sure which Sage to get, the 1 or the 2. You'll have to let us know you thoughts once your Sage 2 comes in and give us your thoughts. Welcome to the forum. Such a tough call... I like them both very much. If possible, get both. They are equally amazing, just different. I like the look and deploy...

Hey guys so I checked the mail and my Sage 2 came in! Ive been playing with it for the last 20 mins and WOW its a solid knife. Its built like a brick. The lockup is ridiculously tight. I dont own a Sebenza but I have played with my buddy's small one and its the closest knife I can compare to the Sag...

Thanks all for the warm welcome. The Gayle Bradley and Caly 3.5 are on my list of knives to purchase. I have heard nothing but excellent things about both. I knew I wasnt the only Sage fan haha! I have read lots of great things on the forums but I know a lot of people are against overseas produced k...

Sage 1 = Perfection

I just got my Sage 1 the other day and I'm blown away by how perfect this knife is. Out of all my spydercos (including my pm2's and manix 2's), this knife has the best fit and finish bar none. The lockup is rock solid and no blade play at all. I used to be one of those guys who would never buy a kni...
