I know I can modify it, just was wondering why some are finished and some are left sharp.

I have a Cricket SE that is my office job EDC. The inside of the Spyderhole even had a protrusion that will catch a gloved finger. Doesn't bother me since I live in California and gloves are illegal ...

Hi there!!!!

I EDC two knives, Huntsman and a Delica 4. I just can't seem to replace or stop carrying my SAK. For my lifestyle, it is just too important and has too many functions that I use quite often. I know that many people like multitools like Sogs and Leathermans as well, but how many of you ...

I agree with you Donut! The native series should have the thin steel liners of the delica/endura/stretch and the screw-type construction that goes along with it! But then you would have to classify it as a middleweight! But this is a dealer exclusive, adding to the collectability! :)

The FRN ...

So what. The FRN Natives are rock solid regardless whether they have a slightly protruding lock. The knife is one of the best values in the Spyderco line and a great performer.

Actually, my favorite knife reviewer is a German guy by the name of Stefan Schmalhaus. His reviews are always concise and very informative. Many of his reviews have a back story telling the history of the company that makes the knife or where the design came from. He's a graphics professional by ...

I only really got into sharpening my own knives about a year ago. I started with the SM but had little success with it, more an exercise in frustration than anything. About 8 months ago I took the plunge and purchased a Wicked Edge. After a learning curve and letting the stones run in, I'm very ...

That's nice, nccole. That would be my only beef with the Cruwear, the inability to carry it tip up. Other than that, the knife rocks.

Hey, on my experience S30V works very well with a toothy edge (f.e. I use 1200 grit Eze Lap or DMT Diamonds). It shaves armhair easily, but it is also very very agressive. Polish up such types of steel is not necessary/useful because they can't take an extremely keen edge like Vg10 or Carbon Steels ...

Spyderco's S30V is the best I've used. It takes a brilliant edge and is just a joy to use. The PM2 becomes a real cutting machine.

I sharpened up my Cruwear on my WEPS and have been putting it through it paces for a week or so. The steel takes a very keen edge and is a cutting machine on wood, cardboard and various other day to day cutting tasks. I set a 34 degree inclusive bevel and stopped at the 600 grit stones. Anyway, been ...

They've been tough to come by for about 18 months or so. Just preorder it somewhere like Knifecenter and be patient; it'll come. I had to wait 4 months for a couple of PM2 variations last year, but I ended up with the knives. You could also sign up for email notifications on various sites, then try ...

I've seen you say several times that "nobody will address what Sal said", well, consider it "addressed".

When I buy a Spyderco, BM, ZT or any other knife from a dealer with my hard earned legally made money then as far as I'm concerned, I don't care what the company ...
