I'm arthritic and the joints at the base of my thumbs give me some exquisite pain. The Dragonfly2 is really easy to manipulate. If you need a bigger knife, the Double Bevel is easily opened & closed with one hand. Virtually no force is required to open either of these knives.

Got mine a couple of days ago. I'd agree that it takes a bit of effort to open onehandedly, but I have a very weak thumb. As for closing, I would definitely advise using both hands. Not sure if that is a plus or a minus, but, in the absence of a lock, it seems less likely to close accidentally ...

Definitely the Double Bevel. That said, I'd have preferred it to have been a back lock, instead of a liner lock. Oh well, maybe there will be a DB2 or a sprint with a back lock someday.

I would never part with my Zulu. It is a radically cool looking knife. That said, I really only carry it on weekends and don't actually use it to do much cutting. To use the tip, you have to hold your wrist at a pretty high angle for many tasks. It really doesn't strike me as practical for EDC ...

I have some nice metal pipes with anodized finishes. The only problem is that the anodized finish is coming off at the bottom of the bowl where the tobacco is burned. I picked up some little leather holsters on eBay. They have pocket clips, so you can clip them inside the top of your pocket and insert a clipless folder, instead of having to fish around in your pocket. Only really useful for one or two of my knives.

I got a black Roadie from GPKnives a week or two ago and really like it. I find it to be the perfect size for a small knife. The raised bug logo on the smooth FRN looks great. I've had a preorder in for a Roadie for months, so that was no surprise. Of the new stuff, the Urban Lightweight is now on my shopping list. I'd been looking for a green G10 one for a while, but gave up when I realized it didn't have liners, so may as well settle for the FRN.

As long as we're doing the magical thinking thing, new items I'd like to open the catalog and find would include:

1) Dragonfly2 in S30V with translucent dusk blue handle
2) Pingo sprint in N690Co with red G10 textured like the Zulu, add a back lock
3) bring back the Caly 3 in G-10 with back lock ...

The Caly3 in G10 (C113G), plain edge, is the last knife on my want list, so I'd also like to see another run of it. Wouldn't even matter if it wasn't black, so long as it isn't orange!

Ditto on the Plano fishing tackle boxes. I have just a few that won't fit (Zulu, Manix2, etc.), but most do, and the length of the compartments can be adjusted. They are transparent, which is handy. Very inexpensive and readily available from Amazon.com, too.
