I picked up a sage 2 at a good price off bladeforums recently. Definitely one of my favorite knives between the PM2 and caly 3.5. I don't know if it's just something with sage models, but the opening of the knife is unreal. It's so smooth. Blade size is perfect, the leaf shape does the knife a lot o...

I don't think you can go wrong with a caly 3.5 or PM2. I have both and they're nothing short of amazing.

I just got my first caly 3.5 CF today... and I have to say I really like the construction. It's a nice change from owning FRN and G-10.

You guys sure make it hard to keep any money in my bank account. I've eyed this for a while but since I've got a lot of backlocks in my collection I couldn't pull the trigger. Wanted to try some other locks, only two I have that aren't backlocks is the tenacious and the manix2. Try a compression lo...

Thanks for the replies. I'll try dicing some foods before any baths. :)

Is tuff glide just a thin layer wiped onto the blade? I've heard different stories about the pivot, some say their knives open like greased lightning, others say it dries and sticks?

Quick question regarding Patina's.

Hey! I recently picked up a delica super blue sprint run, and I'd like to put a patina on it. I've been reading up on different ways to put one, but I couldn't find anything regarding the vinegar. Does it have to be white vinegar, and does it have to be hot/boiling? Once vinegar dipped, can you add ...

I didn't register when I ordered from GPKnives and they said they'd send me an email when they sent out, but I never got any email. But I did get the delica on my front doorstep today. Sweet knife! Now I just have to figure out what kind of patina I want.

Just saying Hi!

Hey, guys. I was always into sharp objects like knives and swords growing up, never really got into knives until recently. I carried around a crappy 440 stainless steel $10 knife for most of my highschool years, recently lost it, and a co-worker of mine who is very much into knives brought me a bunc...
