Hi All

Thought I would share my good luck. This week I found :

A Military PE Black NIB
A Paramilitary PE Black NIB

My wife is not talking to me, I broke the ...

My little niece went to an animal playground a while ago and saw her first real live cow. Her grandfather took her and proceeded to explain to her where milk came from. S

he refused to believe him. She firmly told him that milk came from the refrigerator. When asked how it got to the refridgerator ...

SE all the way. And they are just as easy to sharpen as the PE, and I sharpen a LOT of knives! Of course, I use the :spyder: sharpening system, so it does make a difference.

One thing that bugs me about all the safe storage options is that you can't display them to be admired... :(

I am fortunate that I put my collectibles in display cases in the shop (with a sign saying "NOT FOR SALE"). Everybody can see and enjoy them and they are quite safe. :p

Lekker collection you have there!

I've become ever more intrigued with the civilian after hearing a story about a guy in the SAP who used it to defend himself and ended up saving his life.

Next paycheck perhaps :)

Thanks - I am going to carry it, but I'll carry a utility knife too.
EEEEK!!! Don't do that! Rather send it to me and I'll keep it nice and pristine in its box where it belongs. That will also go a loooong way towards fixing the horrible jealousy I feel right now. ;)

Welcome and well done ...

I'm gonna dig around and see what I can find, but most of them are probably not in very good condition. I would much prefer a Spydie 'comic' collection to a Spiderman collection!

Never thought about this, if I had I probably would have had a really nice set by now! :D

Horrible thing happened to a friend of mine recently. Had a beautiful collection of El Mar number versions in glass fronted frames on the walls of his lounge and pub. Catalogs

Hi :spyder: afficiados

A comment in an earlier thread make me think. How many of you 'serious' collectors also collect the catalogues and pamphlets from Spyderco. Anybody ever done a list on what was produced the way that was done for knives. Any opinions on the possible worth of these should they ...

Mmmm, thanks for the info. Many 100's of Hawks still available here. Any idea as to total made? Trying to decide if I should keep one NIB for my collection.

As for the Spyker, if there were definately only 3000 made I'm taking one out of stock for my own collection.

Spyderhawk & Spyker

Hi Fellow :spyder: nuts

I'm a little confused, too much exposure to too many :spyder: threads. Please clarify for me, is the Spyderhawk still being made or not? And the Spyker?

B.T.W. the name Spyker is the Afrikaans word for Nail as in a steel nail. You must see guys coming into our store and ...

We do a bit of promotional item selling, and some of the knives we sell are sent to a company that uses a kind of paste that is pu on the blade. a laser is then used to etch the name of the company or logo into the blade. Some kind of chemical reaction with the paste (which is apparently poisonous ...
